An expandable filter for a basket, basin, or sink, the filter including a filter material shaped and formed to having a peripheral region, a plurality of panels, and a central collection region, the peripheral region having an upper surface and a lower surface, and the plurality of panels extending from the central collection region towards the peripheral region; and one or more folds in the filter, each of the one or more folds permitting each of the plurality of panels to overlap an adjacent portion of the filter, wherein the filter can be unfolded from a folded orientation to a partially unfolded orientation.

Abstract: An enclosure that can be utilized with an image capture device for digitizing documents can include a bin having a platform panel, an aperture panel, and side support panels. The aperture panel comprises an aperture passing through it. Documents or objects may be gathered and/or stored within the bin. When a user desires to digitally capture the documents or objects, the user may turn the bin on its side so that the aperture panel is on top and the platform panel is on bottom, place a document on the platform with the document facing the aperture, place an image capture device on the aperture panel with the image capture sensor aligned with the aperture and therefore facing the document, and capture an image of the document.

Abstract: Methods for making multi-walled containers from a single blank, preferably using a continuous process approach, and the resulting containers are disclosed. Various embodiments of the invention include, alone or in combination, intermediate panels formed from flap precursors that are in- or out-folded such that their distal ends are in proximate relationship to each other; outer flaps sized to overlap exposed edges of a container formed from the blank; stress relief features a joint corners to reduce stresses thereat. Methods for making select containers of the invention include folding and adhering the flap precursors to an inner panel, up-folding the inner panel/intermediate panel combination about a mandrel, and continuing to up-fold the outer panel until a container having a “use” position as a resting position is formed.

Abstract: A rear loading cargo carrying wheeled vehicle includes a pair of container lifts for moving shipping containers between a container support platform on the vehicle and an unloaded position behind the vehicle. Each lift typically includes a pivot arm pivotally mounted on the vehicle, a telescoping arm telescopically mounted on the pivot arm, and a container engaging support member mounted on the telescoping arm for engaging and supporting the containers. A platform lift is provided for lowering the platform during the loading operation to provide greater stability. The container support platform includes a forward section and tail section which is movable relative to the forward section to provide greater clearance for loading and unloading the container. Guide walls along either side of the platform guide misaligned containers onto the platform. The container lifts are configured for loading and unloading one or more containers onto and from the platform.
