Abstract: A medical packing device for use within a body cavity of a subject is provided. The medical packing device comprises an absorbent member having at least a first major side surface and at least one depression that is formed in the first major side surface and has a predetermined shape and volume. The at least one depression is defined by a continuous perimeter wall that is formed in the first major side surface and forms a reservoir capable of receiving and retaining a volume of a medicament therein.
