Abstract: A biogas treatment system removes moisture and other unwanted materials from biogas originating, for example, with a landfill or anaerobic digester. Water and other unwanted materials are thus removed from landfill gas and waste water biogas, while the gas temperature is controlled to a usable level. More especially, the present invention provides for the removal of water and other unwanted ingredients of biogas with a greatly reduced energy requirement when compared to conventional technologies.
