Publication number: 20240399068Abstract: The invention relates to a dose control system configured for an injectable drug delivery device. The device comprises a substantially disk-shaped diametral single-dipole magnet removably attachable, or permanently fixed, to a rotatable dose wheel at a proximal extremity of a drug delivery device body, a housing removably attachable to the proximal extremity of the drug delivery body and comprising at least a first and a second magnetic field measurement means configured to measure the magnetic field produced by the magnet. An integrated control unit is connected to the magnetic field measurement means and is configured to process information received therefrom. The magnetic field measurement means are located in the housing in a displaced axial relationship relative to the longitudinal axis of the drug delivery body and the magnet.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 12, 2024Publication date: December 5, 2024Applicant: Biocorp Production S.A.S.Inventors: Lionel ALDON, Alain MARCOZ

Patent number: 10105496Abstract: An automatic injector includes a cover extending along a longitudinal axis. A syringe for injecting a drug is arranged inside the cover, and includes a needle, a needle protector, a body, a plunger, and a rod for pushing the plunger into the syringe body, which is moved axially forwards by a resilient load force exerted by a first spring during an injection. The syringe also includes a tip for protecting the needle, which is axially movable about the needle and against a resilient load force exerted by a second spring between a forward position in which the tip surrounds the needle and a retracted position in which the needle is uncovered. A mechanism blocks the forward movement of the rod. The mechanism is deactivated as the tip is moved towards the retracted position and is reactivated during the injection when the tip is moved towards the forward position.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2015Date of Patent: October 23, 2018Assignee: Biocorp ProductionInventor: Antoine Aneas
