Patents Assigned to Biodome
  • Patent number: 7632260
Abstract: According to the inventive method, a first element (22) of the assembly which is formed by the base (8) and the cap (22) of the device, is produced from a harder material than the second element (8) of said assembly (8, 22), the first element (22) is provided with at least one peripheral edge (30) for tightly penetrating an area facing the second element and the/each edge (30) of the first element (8) is/are covered with a lubricating agent which is suitable for forming a lubricating film (26) once the covering process is complete. Said film remains in place on the sealed edge(s), during the relative displacement of the cap (22) and the base (8), as well as when the cap (22) and base (8) are immobile in relation to each other. This film ensures that the cap can be fairly easily disassembled from the base.

  • Patent number: 7628779
Abstract: The invention concerns a connection device comprising a base (10) adapted to be mounted on a receptacle (2) and forming a sliding sleeve (15) for a piston (16) which moves or forms a hollow needle (16), an annular skirt (20) for locking the base plate (10) in snap-on configuration on the neck (4), and a cap (30) designed to isolate the plate (10) and/or the piston (16) from ambient atmosphere. The cap (30) is provided with at least one protuberance (33) designed to be engaged in the internal volume (V) of said skirt (20), said protuberance (33) extending radially relatively to a central axis (X-X?) of the cap (30) over a distance (R33) greater than the minimum distance (R25) between said central axis (X-X?) and an edge (23) of the opening (O?) providing access to the internal volume (V) of said skirt. The protuberance remains integral with the rest (31a) of the cap when the latter is removed from the device.

  • Patent number: 6537263
Abstract: The invention concerns a connecting device (1) comprising a base (5) mounted on the receptacle (2) and extended by a flange (9) forming an inner bore (A) and a piston (10) capable of sliding in said inner bore (A) between a released position relative to a plug (4) and a transfer position wherein a hollow needle (11) borne by the piston (10) passes through the plug (4). A scaling lip (22) is arranged on an internal surface (8d) of the bore (A) opposite the piston (10) or a surface of the piston, said lip (22) being shaped to be urged to press sealingly against the piston (10d) or against an internal surface of the bore, in the transfer position.

  • Patent number: 6478788
Abstract: A device for connecting between a recipient and a container, including a base, mounted on the recipient and a bush forming an inner bore, and a plunger adapted to slide in this bore, between a first position disengaged with respect to the stopper of the recipient and a second, so-called transfer position, in which a hollow needle borne by the plunger traverses the stopper. The base is provided with at least one elastic catch for retaining the plunger in the transfer position, this catch projecting, from the bush, towards the interior of the bore and being adapted to cooperate with an outer radial tab of the plunger.

  • Patent number: 6189688
Abstract: A multi-chamber dispensing container for storing at least two substances in an impervious and sterile environment. The container has a tubular body, with a bottom end and an end having an opening. At least one means of occlusion having a continuous outer edge is disposed in an oblique position inside the body between the ends prior to activation of the container. The means of occlusion seals the body imperviously and divides it into two chambers, each containing a substance. The container further has a means for dispensing the substances contained in the body, these means being disposed near the end presenting the opening and sealing this end imperviously. The means of occlusion has two different areas, one of which is partially tearable under the effect of activating pressure from the fingers, the other being designed so as to not tear under the effect of the pressure. This second area maintains the means of occlusion in place within the body after activation.

  • Patent number: 6102893
Abstract: A single-use disposable syringe device has a tubular body with a nose portion for receiving a hollow needle that communicates with an inner portion of the tubular body. The device also includes a sliding plunger provided opposite the nose portion inside the body, which is actuatable by the user at an upper end. The plunger is arranged in relation to the tubular body in a position where an innermost end defines an inner useful volume that is at least partially filled by a liquid medicinal substance. The device further includes a cap for protecting at least the nose portion and a protective sheath to be used after an injection. The cap is slidably mounted in a retracted position on and coaxial to the tubular body and has a length sufficient to completely cover the needle in an extended position. The cap is connected to the sheath or to the tubular body by a tamper-proof system.
