Patents Assigned to Biological Monitoring, Inc.
  • Patent number: 5469144
Abstract: A method for selecting and implementing waveform processing techniques for a Bio-Sensor.RTM.. The ventilatory cycles of a fish are used to determine when an alarm state is present. Threshold techniques used in the waveform processing include a dynamic threshold method and a static threshold method.

  • Patent number: 5307052
Abstract: The present invention provides a bio-amplifier in a water quality system. The bio-amplifier detects and amplifies a ventilatory behavior of a fish. The ventilatory behavior is converted to a signal. The signal is an instantaneous determination of the quality of water being tested.

  • Patent number: 5140855
Abstract: A monitoring tank for fish used as biological sensors wherein water being monitored for quality and toxins continuously flows. Extraneous noise is mostly eliminated by suitable grounding. Aluminum racks with slide guides support the multiple monitorin tanks for each access to the monitoring tanks. The water is discharged from the monitoring tanks into drain trays located under the aluminum racks.
