Abstract: A diagnostic capsule is disclosed having at least one light source; a rotatable substrate having at least one optical bench; at least one photo-sensitive region; and a circumferential window having an axis substantially parallel to an axis of rotation of the rotatable substrate. Related systems for use with a diagnostic capsule are also disclosed. An endoscopic diagnostic map is further disclosed. The endoscopic diagnostic map has a first dimension corresponding to a rotational position of at least one optical bench on a rotatable substrate of a diagnostic capsule. The endoscopic diagnostic map also has a second dimension corresponding a traveled position of the diagnostic capsule.
