Patents Assigned to Bischof und Klein GmbH & Co.
  • Patent number: 6176615
Abstract: In a side-folded bag or a sack of a flexible material, which is to be filled with a pourable material, front and rear walls of the bag are connected along an upper edge of the head end of the bag on the inside in seam fashion with one another or with the in each case adjoining half of the side fold. To form a discharging opening, a tab or handle, assigned to the inner fold edge of a side fold, is provided at the upper edge of the bag, with which handle the side fold can be pulled out between the front and rear walls of the bag and the in each case adjoining halves of the side fold, loosening the connecting seam. For closing the discharging opening once again, two triangular comer tips on either side of the inner fold edge from the front and rear walls of the bag together with the in each case adjoining halves of the side fold, are folded over along a diagonal fold line towards the outside onto the front wall or the rear wall of the bag and fixed to this detachably.

  • Patent number: 6010004
Abstract: A packing for pourable materials constructed from paper, from plastic sheet or from a similar flexible material has the form of a package or bag which is closed at both ends. A pouring opening for removing contents from the package is to be produced by the consumer in a transition region between one of the two closed ends of the package and the adjoining narrow side wall of the package. In a region of the other of the two closed ends of the package essentially diagonally opposite to the pouring opening that is to be produced, a holding device of an, in turn, flexible material is provided, which normally extends within the outer contour of the package. However, the holding device can be pulled with a part, forming an external gripping handle, out of the package for the purpose of removing material from the package and serves as a pouring aid.

  • Patent number: 5104235
Abstract: A packaging container made of flexible material has bottom and head ends along with front and rear walls. The front and rear walls have lower side borders juxtaposed to the bottom end and which are joined together along juncture fold lines which are parallel to one another. The front and rear walls have upper side borders juxtaposed to the juncture fold lines. The upper side borders of the front and rear walls are connected by side panels having outer fold lines at the second side borders and an inner fold line such that when the container is in a flat unfilled state, the side panels are sandwiched between the front and rear walls and the outer fold lines and inner fold lines respectively converge toward one another as the head end is approached.

  • Patent number: 4930904
Abstract: A foldable bag material is formed into a bag having at least one end with a corner and having an end closure formed by the bag material which closes off the one end of the bag. A filter valve tube extends within the end closure at the one corner, the tube having an inner end disposed within the interior of the bag such that the tube is adapted to receive a filler nozzle of a pneumatic filling device for filling the bag with a filling material. The tube has an inner end portion and an outer end portion, the inner end portion having a cross-sectional contraction which is contracted relative to the outer end portion such that the contracted inner end portion forms a seal with the filler nozzle, the tube being made at least partially of a filter material which is gas-permeable but which retains the filling material such that the gas-permeable material provides for venting of the bag during filling.

  • Patent number: 4759640
Abstract: A bag of foldable material has an end closure closing off one end of the bag and a filling valve tube device extends into the end closure at a corner of the bag, the filling valve tube device has an inner end disposed within the interior of the bag and has an inner layer which is convertable from a normally inactive adhesive state to a state capable of sealing off the filling valve tube device. A shut-off lip device of flexible material is disposed within the end closure and projects into the interior of the bag beyond the interior end of the filling valve tube device, the shut-off lip device being constructed to be responsive to the pressure of the filling material introduced into the interior of the bag to close off the interior opening of the filling valve tube device.

  • Patent number: 4637062
Abstract: There is disclosed a bag assembly comprised of a tubularly-shaped bag preform formed of a plastic material defining a top closure portion and a bottom closure portion and provided with an adhesive layer peripherally-disposed about the tubularly-shaped bag preform proximate the top and bottom closure portions. The top closure portion and the bottom closure portion are subsequently formed with corner folds and side folds with the side folds being dimensioned whereby end portions of said side folds are spaced apart from one another upon subsequent folding agent about a fold line. A conduit member including a sleeve portion is mounted on one of the corner folds of the top closure portion by an adhesive layer portion disposed on the corner fold, and sheet members are thereupon mounted over the side and corner folds by adhesive layer portions thereon. After folding of the side fold members about the fold lines, top and bottom closure sheet members are mounted on the top and bottom closure portions.
