Abstract: A clip and latch device including: a mount including a securing base defining a plane, a rear end and a front end, a clip base mounted at the rear end of the securing base, a clip having a normally downward angle from the clip base towards the front end of the securing base, and a latch which terminates at the clip and normally extending so that the latch reaches to at least the plane of the securing base. The clip and latch device can be used for modular male plug, for example a male RJ plug, which may be with or without a broken tab or latch.
