Abstract: An electric motor, drive, and assembly for a tracked vehicle. The assembly including an electric motor, a cylindrical housing encircling the electric motor and adapted for rotation about the motor, and a drive sprocket. The drive sprocket is coupled to the housing and having teeth to generally engage a track of the tracked vehicle.
Abstract: An integrated air jack assembly for a snowmobile for generally lifting the snowmobile from a stuck position to a free position. The assembly including a pair of airbags positioned on an underside of a chassis and coupled to an air source for inflation. In the preferred configuration of the device, the air source is a jet powered fan configured to inflate a first airbag and a second airbag for raising an underside of a chassis of the snowmobile.
Abstract: A system for inspection of the undercarriage of a vehicle. The system may comprise a mobile unit or a stationary unit configured to fit in a space below the vehicle for gathering and transmitting data, images and or recordings, of the undercarriage of the vehicle. The system comprises at least one camera and preferably a plurality of cameras and at least one light source and preferably a plurality of light sources mounted on a device configured to fit in the space below a vehicle without hindering the inspection of the undercarriage of the vehicle. Photoelectric lasers or laser scanning systems may also be incorporated into the device. Data gathered by the cameras and/or laser systems can be transmitted to a controller and in some embodiments compared to standard data for recognition and potentially warning of an unexpected condition of the undercarriage without requiring physical human inspection.
