Abstract: In some examples, a vehicle receives authorization information that identifies an automotive service to be performed on the vehicle, the authorization information further indicating approval of performance of the automotive service on the vehicle by an operator of the vehicle and a vehicle manufacturer. Based on the authorization information, the vehicle enables access of an electronic component of the vehicle by an authorized repair entity to perform the automotive service.

The call history includes a listing of all of the calls stored by the device that are associated with the selected call log call.

Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for determining a service associated with an unclassified traffic flow in a computer network. A primary cluster analysis is performed on the plurality of classified flows and the unclassified flow to associate the unclassified flow to a group of classified flows having a common service. The association between the unclassified flow and the common service is provided to a network security management system.
Abstract: Provided are a method for a terminal transmitting uplink control information (UCI)through a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in a wireless communication system, and a terminal using the method. A transmission power to be applied to the uplink control channel is determined on the basis of a value subordinate to a PUCCH format, and at least one type of UCI is transmitted from the physical uplink control channel by using the transmission power that is determined, wherein when the PUCCH format is PUCCH format 3, and the at least one type of UCI includes acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement(ACK/NACK) and periodic channel state information (CSI), the value subordinate to the PUCCH format is determined on the basis of the number of bits of the ACK/NACK and the number of bits of the periodic CSI.

Abstract: Data is scrambled at a transmitter according to one of a number of predetermined scrambling sequences which are associated with a particular one of a number of predetermined transmit antenna diversity schemes (i.e., a specific number of transmit antenna ports). Received data is decoded using one or more of the known transmit antenna diversity schemes and the scrambled data is descrambled according to a corresponding descrambling sequence (related to the scrambling sequence). Based on the descrambled data, the receiver determines which transmit antenna diversity scheme (i.e., the number of antenna ports) is used by the transmitter. In one specific embodiment, CRC parity data is scrambled in the transmitter and the receiver descrambles the recovered CRC parity data according to a descrambling sequence, computes CRC parity data from the received data, and compares the descrambled CRC parity data to the newly computed CRC parity data.
Abstract: A method and system includes generating event logs, storing in a database log data comprising the generated event logs, identifying a first set of log data by searching the log data for a first log data type, the first log data type having a data structure that includes a generic identifier and a specific data, identifying pairs of generic identifiers and associated specific data in the first set of log data, for each generic identifier of the identified pairs identifying a second set of log data that include the generic identifier but not the specific data, wherein identifying the second set of log data is performed by searching the log data for event logs that include the generic identifier, and updating log data stored in the database by adding, for each of the event logs of the identified second set of log data, the specific data associated with the generic identifier.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for previewing new events in a computing device having a plurality of applications for managing respective events are described. Individual applications are each represented by an application icon on a screen of a graphical user interface for the device. In response to a new event of a one of the applications, the application's icon is visually modified to notify of the new event. A visual modification may be determined in response to the new event, for example, to preview a content of the event.
