    Abstract: The present application generally relates to electronic trading systems, and more specifically to systems and methods for electronic trade order routing. Specifically, electronic trade orders may be divided into a first set and a second set. The first set of trade orders are executed with ad hoc execution styles. For the second set, execution style recommendations are generated in a form of a lookup table for the second set of trade orders according to a testing routing strategy. The second set of trade orders are executed with recommended execution styles. A difference between performance metrics among the first set of trade orders and the second set of trade orders is computed. A decision on whether to adopt the recommended execution style is generated based at least in part on the computed difference.

    Abstract: Embodiments directed to simulating a portfolio of alternative investments. Cash flow templates are generated from cash flow parameters. Cash flows for various asset classes of alternative investments are generated from the cash flow templates. A Markowitz optimization generates investment allocations into the asset classes using cash flows and a risk parameter, such that the investment allocations maximize a cash flow of the portfolio for a corresponding value of the risk parameter. The investment allocations into the asset classes as a function of risk are displayed on a first user interface and a cash flow corresponding to the investment allocations is displayed on a second user interface. The first and second interface are inter-related, such that a movement of a computer-generated marker along a risk axis in the first user interface that causes changes to the investment allocations also causes changes to the cash flow displayed on the second user interface.

    Abstract: A decumulation management system provides guidance for decumulation of a portfolio over a decumulation period of time. A spending amount is withdrawn from the portfolio during the decumulation period of time. The decumulation management system determines the probability of successfully withdrawing the spending amount during the remaining decumulation period and establishes thresholds for adjusting the spending amount and a risk profile of the portfolio based on the performance of the portfolio during the decumulation. When the portfolio value decreases below the thresholds, the spending amount may be reduced, and when the portfolio value exceeds the thresholds, the spending amount may be increased and the risk profile of the portfolio is decreased. The decumulation management system may provide recommendations based on these thresholds, or may automatically manage withdrawals of the spending amount and investments to match the risk profile.
