  • Publication number: 20250085082
Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is a customizable holster including a first inner holster component and a second inner holster component, configured in a mating arrangement into an inner holster. Internal contact surfaces are formed on an interior of each of the first and second inner holster components. The internal contact surfaces are conformed to the shape of a predetermined firearm design, in order to securely receive and retain the firearm within the inner holster. An external mating surface defines an exterior of the inner holster. An outer holster has an interior defined by an internal mating surface for receiving and engaging with the external mating surface of the inner holster. The internal and external mating surfaces are configured to encircle the first and second holster components, and thereby securely receive and retain the inner holster within the outer holster.

  • Publication number: 20250085083
Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is a firearm retention mechanism, for securely retaining a firearm within the internal contact surfaces of a holster. An ejector port lock of the firearm retention mechanism engages an ejector port of the firearm in an engagement position, to prevent rearward movement of the firearm out of the holster. A hood of the firearm retention mechanism contacts a rear face of the firearm against rearward movement and thereby secures the firearm into the holster in the engagement position. An internal actuator of the firearm retention mechanism performs a first operation of disposing the hood into a disengagement position from the rear face of the firearm and a second operation of releasing the ejector port lock from the ejector port, thereby permitting rearward movement of the firearm out of the holster.

  • Patent number: 12061065
Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is a interchangeable, multi location, multi cant, auto locking, quick mount structure for a holster, for a firearm, hand held device, carried gear or the like. The interchangeable, multi location, multi cant, auto locking, quick mount includes an insert plate having a generally circular profile and configured for securement to a receptacle (e.g., a holster or magazine pouch) for removably retaining a hand-held device (e.g., a firearm or ammunition magazine. A receiver platform is configured for mounting to an engagement surface (such as a gun belt) for removably receiving the insert plate. An internal track is formed on the receiver platform and has a generally circular profile configured to mate with and retain the generally circular profile of the insert plate. In this manner, rotation of the insert plate is enabled to a selected mounting angle with respect to the receiver platform.

  • Patent number: 11959510
Abstract: Provided in this disclosure is a method for manufacturing a customizable holster. Steps are provided of molding inner holster components, including molding internal surfaces that conform to shapes of respective portions of a desired firearm design. Other substeps include molding external surfaces that conform to the shape of portions of an external mating surface of an inner holster. The inner holster components are mated to form an inner holster having an internal contact surface that conforms to the firearm design, to securely receive and retain a respective firearm within the inner holster. An outer holster is molded having an interior defined by an internal mating surface that conforms with the external mating surface of the inner holster. The inner holster is then mated to the outer holster such that the external mating surface of the inner holster is received within the internal mating surface of the outer holster.

  • Patent number: 9138903
Abstract: Techniques involving a kicker assist mechanism and other functionality are described. In one or more implementations, the techniques describe a device that includes a lever coupled to a stop-pin and configured to cause deployment of a blade from a handle of a folding knife. The lever may be configured to pivot about the stop-pin in response to a push or pull force directed at one end of the lever and engage the blade with an opposing end of the lever with a force to cause the deployment of the blade. The blade may be configured to deploy in a pivotal movement from a closed position of the folding knife to a deployed position in response to the force employed by the opposing end of the lever.

  • Patent number: 8601699
Abstract: A utility knife includes a handle having a blade track system with a pivot point and a blade mounted in the blade track system. The blade includes a cutting/scraping edge extending along a side of the blade. In an implementation, the blade is shiftable between a closed configuration, where the cutting/scraping edge is enclosed within the handle, to a first open configuration, where the blade extends longitudinally outward from an end of the handle. The shift between the closed and first open configurations can occur by rotating the blade about the pivot point and in the blade track system. Also, the blade is shiftable along the blade track system between the first open configuration and a second open configuration, where the blade is located towards another end of the handle such that the cutting/scraping edge extends downwards from a bottom of the handle.
