Abstract: In order to produce a packaging for a sink which has particularly good absorption properties and a low rate of transportation damage there is proposed a packaging for a sink which comprises at least one supporting body that is formed at least partly from a foamed plastic material and comprises at least one seating element incorporating a seating channel for an edge section of the sink, and an outer packaging whose interior accommodates the sink and the at least one supporting body, wherein the at least one supporting body extends over substantially the entire internal height of the interior of the outer packaging.
Abstract: The subject matter of the application is a sink accessory (e.g. a cutting board) that can be placed on a sink and a sink that is provided with a sink accessory of this type. Hereby, the periphery of the sink accessory comprises two differently spaced bearing surfaces which lie at different heights with respect to the surface of the sink accessory. In this way it is possible for one and the same sink accessory to be selectively placed on different supporting surfaces of the same sink, on the supporting surfaces of different sinks or on the supporting surface of another sink accessory (e.g. a strainer). In dependence on the geometry thereby, only the first bearing surface is in contact with the sink in a first position, whereas the second bearing surface is used as a contact area in the second position.

Abstract: In order to provide a food transport container, comprising an air circulation device, by which air is taken in from the interior of the food transport container and blown out into the interior of the food transport container, wherein the air circulation device comprises at least one fan, that has a longer maintenance-free operating period and/or a longer useful life, it is proposed that the air circulation device comprises at least one air intake channel, through which the air is taken in by the fan indirectly from the interior of the food transport container.
Abstract: Methods to fasten an installation element, in particular a sink, to the edge of a receiving opening for the installation element in a work surface are disclosed, wherein the installation element has at least one holding element, which enables the installation element to be fastened simply and quickly to the work surface. A disclosed method comprises: (a) arranging a variable-volume material on the installation element and/or on the holding element and/or on the work surface and/or between the installation element and the work surface; (b) arranging the installation element in the receiving opening of the work surface; (c) changing the volume of the variable-volume material, so that a clamping body is formed from the variable-volume material, which exerts a resultant force on the holding element of the installation element, which causes the installation element to be pulled towards the work surface.
