    Abstract: A linear clutch includes a main body engaged with a locking assembly. The locking assembly includes a spring and a wedge configured to engage the spring. The wedge includes a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, with the second surface including a taper configured to engage a taper on a wall section of the main body. The locking assembly also includes a roller bearing assembly configured to fit within the tapers of the first wedge and the main body. Furthermore, the locking assembly includes a lever configured to engage the wedge and to move between an unlocked position and a locked position.

The cylindrical head includes a bolt-receiving bore extending through the cylindrical head along a bore axis at an acute angle to the upper face that is adapted to receive a bolt therethrough. A flange extends radially extending from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical head. The flange has a diameter greater than the diameter of at least a portion of the aperture through the plate. Tightening of the bolt captures the plate between the flange and the frame member.

Bolts may extend angularly through bores of the bracket and the slots of the rails to operatively engage a nut being held in the cavity. Tightening the bolts may draw the nut angularly through the cavity in a manner that automatically self-aligns the brackets and rails to establish precise joints.
