    Abstract: A nipple is attachable to the outer end of the fill pipe of a motor fuel tank and contains a closure flap and a number of other valves performing various functions. The nipple therefore can have unified in it mechanisms performing most or all of the functions required in association with the tank and can be made as a pre-assembled unit quickly and easily attached to a fuel tank in the manufacture of a vehicle to minimize the number of required assembly procedures.
