Abstract: An apparatus for exercising the muscles. The apparatus includes an exercising device having a power arm or lever, which can be equipped with actuating elements at a first end of the power arm or lever. A second end of the power arm or lever is arranged on a retaining element in a way pivotable about a pivot axis at a first articulated joint. A compression-spring element can be articulated, by way of a first end of the compression-spring element at a first point of articulation on the power arm and articulated, by way of a second end of the compression-spring element at a second point of articulation on the retaining element.
Abstract: An exercising device including a lever or power arm which is able to be arranged by a first end on a retaining element at a first articulated joint in a way pivotable about a pivot axis or pin, whereby a resistance element is able to be coupled by a first end region at a first coupling point on the power arm, and by a second end region at a second coupling point at a second articulated joint on the retaining element. The exercising device is able to be detachably arranged on a structure by means of an engaging connection, which is formed by a hook-shaped recess and a rod-shaped element and whereby the exercising device is lockable in an engaged position by means of a fixation.
Abstract: An apparatus (1) for exercising muscles comprises a power arm (2), which is pivotable about a pivot shaft (5), which is disposed on a holding element (6). The first articulation point (7) at which a compression spring element (9) is linked to the power arm (2) is adjustable along the power arm (2). To achieve this, one end region (8) of the compression spring element (9) is provided with a first joint surface (14), and a series of second joint surfaces (16), which are designed complementary to the first joint surface (14), is disposed across an adjustment zone (10) along the power arm (2). The first joint surface (14) is operatively connectible to one of the second joint surfaces (16), and the power arm (2) is pressed via a further spring element (18) toward the one end region (8) of the compression spring element (9) such that the two operatively connected joint surfaces are kept in contact with each other. Resulting thereby is a simple possibility of adjustment of the force to be applied to the power arm.
Abstract: An apparatus for exercising the muscles, comprising a power arm having actuating elements at one end area, and where the other end of the power arm is pivotally connected to a holding element through a first hinge. The apparatus further comprises a spring element, wherein one end of the spring element is linked to the power arm at a first articulation point, and a second end of the spring element is linked to the holding element through a second articulation point. A support is further included which lies on an imaginary plane defined by an x-axis and a y-axis. The holding element is connected to the support by a rotary hinge which allows the holding element to rotate with respect to the support about a shaft which lies on an axis that is normal to the imaginary plane.
