    Abstract: A vehicle drive device includes a drive shaft to be driven by a drive source, a rotation transmission unit that transmits rotation input from the drive shaft to a wheel, a mechanical oil pump that generates a hydraulic pressure by the rotation of the drive shaft, an electric oil pump that electrically generates a hydraulic pressure, a hydraulic control device that supplies lubricating oil to the rotation transmission unit based on the hydraulic pressures generated by the mechanical oil pump and the electric oil pump, a drive circuit that controls electric power to be supplied to the electric oil pump, and a control unit that controls a drive condition of the drive circuit. The control unit stops the drive circuit and shuts down the electric oil pump when a temperature of refrigerant for cooling the drive circuit is equal to or higher than a third start temperature.

    Abstract: A rotating electrical machine control system includes a base current instruction setting part that sets a base current instruction based on target torque of a rotating electrical machine; a correction current instruction setting part that sets a correction current instruction with a frequency determined based on torque ripple; and a current control part that performs current feedback control to compute a voltage instruction which is an instruction value of a voltage to be applied to the rotating electrical machine. The current control part includes a first current control part whose control target is a component of the base current instruction; and a second current control part whose control target is a component of the correction current instruction. A gain of the second current control part is set to be low compared to a gain of the first current control part.

    Abstract: A control apparatus for a hybrid electric vehicle that includes (i) an engine, (ii) a first electric motor, (iii) a second electric motor, (iv) first wheels, (v) second wheels and (vi) an engagement device disposed between the engine/first electric motor and the first wheels. The engagement device establishes and cuts off transmission of a power of the engine/first electric motor to the first wheels, by connecting and disconnecting between an input rotary member and an output rotary member. During running of the vehicle in a running mode in which the engagement device is released and the vehicle is caused to run by a power of the second electric motor, it is determined whether the engagement device is being released or not, based on (a) a rotational speed difference between the input and output rotary members and (b) a rotational state of the engine or the first electric motor.
