Abstract: This application relates to reporting and monitoring a location of a mobile device. Disclosed is an attendance recording service in which when an employee requests attendance recording using a mobile application installed in a smartphone, the smartphone communicates with a server and records clock-in and clock-out of the employee. When the employee selects an attendance recording request button from the mobile application, an analysis is made as to whether the employee is positioned in a workplace, and clock-in or clock-out of the employee is recorded only when it is determined that the employee is positioned in the workplace, thereby maintaining reliable attendance recording.
