An alternative event light involves a body having a forward external surface, a frame coupled to the forward external surface, at least one central light source, bounded by at least a portion of the frame, and at least auxiliary component removably coupled to the frame.

Abstract: A lighting fixture involves a base, at least one yoke, and a shaft, a lighting head is coupled to the at least one yoke, wherein the lighting head is controllably rotatably movable. The lighting head has a first extent at a lighting output side. A transition plate has multiple connection ports through which power can pass from the lighting head to a lighting array, comprising one or more lighting modules. The lighting array has a second extent that is greater than the first extent of the lighting head. The lighting head includes an electrically conductive coupling which will allow the transition plate to be rotated relative to the lighting head, through at least one revolution, while maintaining a continuous electrical path between the lighting head and lighting array when a particular lighting array is coupled to the transition plate and the transition plate is coupled to the lighting head.

Abstract: An exercise data collection system for use with an exercise machine, including a computerized processing unit and at least two sensors mounted on or near the exercise machine to capture data indicative of aspects of exercising performed by a user of the exercise machine. A first of the at least two sensors being of a first sensor type and a second of the at least two sensors being of a second sensor type different from the first sensor type. The sensors including circuitry associated therewith sufficient to allow the sensors to wirelessly communicate captured data for receipt and analysis by the processing unit, which includes programming that will cause the processing unit to analyze the received captured data in conjunction with characteristics of the user so that a representation of the exercise performed by the user can be constructed that reflects the exercising as it was performed by the user.

An array of hermetically sealed, multiple individual organic light emitting diodes are positioned within the peripheral boundary on top of the first layer of ice. A second layer of ice on top of the array has an internal side facing the array and an external surface on a side opposite the internal side. A power source operatively connected to the array provides power to the individual organic light emitting diodes in the array. The multiple individual organic light emitting diodes are selectively controllable such that graphic images can be displayed by using specific organic light emitting diodes selected from among the individual organic light emitting diodes in the array and the graphic images will be visible through the external surface of the second layer of ice.
