Patents Assigned to Boardman Molded Products
  • Patent number: 6352757
Abstract: A floor mat system having a plurality of individual floor mats disposed in a frame assembly includes floor mats sized in a manner so that a transport vehicle having wheels can be rolled over the floor mat system in any direction without two wheels of the transport vehicle contacting a single floor mat at any given time. This floor mat arrangement prevents two wheels of the transport vehicle from working together to dislodge the floor mats. As such, each individual floor mat of the system has a width and a length sized to be less than the wheel base distance and the tract distance of the transport vehicle. The width and length of each floor mat is also designed such that two wheels cannot reside on a single floor mat diagonally. The floor mats may also have a plurality of support knobs extending down from the ribs to provide additional support to the floor mat. The support knobs are configured and located so as not to clog the fluid flow channels under the floor mat.

  • Patent number: 5188582
Abstract: An apparatus for forming thin plastic, film, aluminum, paper, glassine and other similar material into a double folded "z" shape as shown and described. In this apparatus, a first ramp folds the material initially in one direction, and a continuously variable die forms the second bend of a "z" shape of the material edge. In order to maintain accuracy, an initial crease is placed at the location of the first fold. The material is drawn through the die by any suitable roller or drawing means which can pull the material through the die. There are no rollers within the edge forming die.

  • Patent number: 5176596
Abstract: Adjustable step stool for exercise purposes includes an inverted cup-shaped top section and a generally annular bottom section. The bottom section is provided with a series of vertical posts or ribs integrally molded therewith along its interior wall, these ribs having support ledges on both their tops and bottoms for alternatively supporting the bottom edge of the top section at different heights. When the top section is used alone, a lowest height step is provided. When the top section is supported in the bottom section in a first attitude of the bottom section, a step of intermediate height is provided. And when the bottom section is flapped over and the top section is supported in the bottom section in this inverted position, a step stool of third and greatest height is provided.

  • Patent number: 4919281
Abstract: A molded plastic rack for bolts of fabric is integrally molded in blank form and includes a frame structure including outer perimeter slender members forming a substantially rectangular support frame and secondary reinforcing members of circular construction interconnected with one another and lying within the outer perimeter members. A hanger hook, integrally molded as part of the blank and connected to the frame by means of severable portions, is removable from the blank and insertable in an appropriate hole and the top of the rack. A plurality of fabric holders are also integrally molded as part of the blank and are severable from their initial positions for subsequent attachment to the frame so that fabric can be hooked thereon.

  • Patent number: 4711360
Abstract: A splash-proof closure for use with liquid holding containers is a one-piece molded structure and includes a body portion with a cap portion, and a hinge integrally formed therebetween. The body portion includes a liquid outlet and a vertically, integrally formed, upwardly extending cap-stopping resilient post for preventing the cap portion from moving towards the liquid outlet during the dispensing mode. The cap portion includes a somewhat domed upper wall which acts as a cam for bending the cap-stopping post at a 45.degree. angle to the body portion when the cap portion is closed, and a closing post integrally formed on the domed wall interior for sealing the liquid outlet when the cap portion is closed on the body portion. The liquid outlet, the cap-stopping post, the closing post and the hinge are all generally along the same line, perpendicular to the hinge axis.
