Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for an virtual personal trainer system using biometric feedback. The system includes a patient monitoring device configured to provide at least one metric representing a user. The system also includes a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions executable by the processor. The instructions can include a parameter calculation component configured to determine if the metric is outside of a predefined range and provide a parameter representing a desired behavior of the user if the metric is outside the desired range. Further, an avatar rendering component provides an avatar according to the provided parameter, such that the provided avatar represents the desired behavior. A display is also provided to display the rendered avatar to the user.
