Abstract: Compounds of formula I are described, ##STR1## wherein: R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, that can be the same or different, are hydrogen or acyl groups;R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, that can be the same or different, are hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl groups.The compounds of formula I are prepared by oxydation of the compounds of formula II: ##STR2## wherein the groups R'.sub.1, R'.sub.2, R'.sub.3 and R'.sub.4 have the same meanings as R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 or groups convertible to the latter.The compounds of formula I have remarkable antitumor activity.

Abstract: This invention relates to a device for the diagnostic evaluation of clinical parameters by direct collection of biological materials consisting of a solid support, of suited materials, shape and size, carrying fixed on its surface a pre-established quantity of an antibody, in the case that the substance to be assessed is an antigen, and of an antigen in the case that the substance to be determined is an antibody, as well as the related diagnostic method.The biological material, collected as above specified, is subsequently qualitatively or quantitatively analyzed by conventional techniques.
