Abstract: The invention relates to a swivelable roll bar, in particular for construction vehicles, with two vertical carriers, each of which has a pair of spars, whereby in each, one spar is connected swivelably through a link joint with the another spar, and the link joint comprises a lock and a stop. The stop consists of a joint stiffener, which is built as an extension of one spar and partially grips about the end of the other. In addition to that, the lock has a continuously adjustable final control element, with which the joint stiffener can be braced against the other spar. With the grip about the other spar, the flexural strength of the link joint of the swivelable roll bar is increased. Further, the bracing of the joint stiffener against the other spar eliminates the play in the link joint. The joint stiffener is preferably built as a U-shaped tubular segment that is attached to the latter as an extension of the spar.
Abstract: A method and a system is described for controlling at least one compaction machine in which the oscillations propagating from the compaction machine in the ground are detected by means of a sensor at least at one relevant measuring location. The measured oscillation values as detected by the sensor are sent to a data-processing unit which then compares the same with a permissible oscillation limit value for the respective measuring location. Upon exceeding the limit value, at least one compaction parameter of the compaction machine is changed in such a way that the measured oscillation values as measured at the measuring location are set by a control loop circuit automatically to a value smaller than or equal to the oscillation limit value.
Abstract: The invention relates to an oscillation generating device for use in a soil compacter with a tipping moment compensation device. A second unbalance shaft pair with oppositely rotating unbalance shafts is arranged adjacent to a first unbalance shaft pair as a tipping moment compensation device. Diagonally opposite unbalance shafts rotate in the same direction. In this way, centrifugal forces and torques on the two unbalance shaft pairs reciprocally cancel each other out so that no tipping moment occurs parallel to the axes of rotation of the unbalances.
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine, particularly a construction machine, with a hoisting mechanism for hoisting the machine with the aid of a hoisting apparatus, whereby the hoisting mechanism comprises a flexible bearing element, one end of which is fastened in the region of the horizontal center of gravity of the machine, and the other end of which comprises a suspension capability for connecting to the hoisting apparatus.

Abstract: The invention concerns a hand-operated working device such as, for example, vibrating plates and vibrating rollers for soil compaction with a guide lever that is arranged on the working device such that it is vibratory damped, can be adjusted in its working height, and can be folded and fixed in a transport position. It has an elastic damping element on each of the four junctures distributed in the arrangement. All four damping elements are connected on the side turned away from the device to a console. The guide lever is arranged on the console.
Abstract: A stripping device for a soil compacting roller having tamping feet is equipped with a spar on which are provided stripper teeth and an optionally adjustable spar mount which permits readjustment of the stripper teeth on the soil compacting roller. The spar preferably comprises a pipe having a circular cross section and a spar mount and on at least one end having a pair of half shells which surround the pipe and are detachably connected for clamping the pipe in a rotationally fixed and displacement-fixed manner. This permits readjustment of the stripper teeth by a swiveling movement of the spar, which results in a large gap width for removing stripped-off soil material in a small area on which soil material can be deposited.
Abstract: A hand-guided vibration tamper, which is driven by a motor laterally cantilevered on the tamper head, is provided with guard plates covering its underside and lateral sides. The underside and lateral guard plates are connected to a housing for the motor, and the underside guard plate is fastened near its free end to the motor and/or an air circulation hood for the motor. Preferably, the underside guard plate is a thick-walled aluminum plate screwed together with the lateral guard plates and extends beyond to protect the air circulation hood with its extension. Advantageously, the motor is also protected by a substantially closed, upper covering connected to the lateral guard plates.
Abstract: A method and a device are provided for determining the degree of compaction during ground compaction with a roller or a vibrating plate compactor comprising a top section and a vibrating plate. The method involves determination of one or more amplitude values of the vibration at approximately the excitation frequency of the plate relative to the top section, one or more amplitude values of one or more vibrations of the plate relative to the top section at a maximum of 60% of the excitation frequency, and the quotient of the aforementioned amplitude values as a measure of the current degree of compaction of the ground. The device includes a sensor for non-contact detection of the relative movements between the top section and the vibrating plate or roller.
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for ground compacting, having at least one vibrating roller whose casing surface is composed of a plurality of segments in the peripheral direction, at least some of which have midpoints which describe an arc having a radius of curvature that deviates from the mean radius of the roller. In order to smooth the jolting movement resulting from the shape of the rollers in devices of this type, it is proposed to construct the tire casing of the roller from several sections lying adjacent to one another in the axial direction, said sections having segments abutting one another in the peripheral direction, whereby the abutting edges are displaced vis-à-vis one another in the peripheral direction.
Abstract: A device for checking the compaction, in particular, of black top pavement in street and roadway construction, using a vibration roller drum that is provided with a compaction checking device is provided. In the compaction of black top pavement, the measurement methods of the dynamic ground rigidity, known from ground compaction, for determining the condition of compaction that has been achieved, can not be used since the asphalt rigidity varies between two measurements with the temperature and in addition, the underground rigidity is measured with it proportionately. In order to solve these problems, a second vibration roller drum is provided which has a second compaction checking device, whereby the second vibration roller drum is coupled to the first vibration roller drum essentially following it in the same track. In this way, for the comparison of the values determined, the temperature dependence of the measurement values determined is eliminated.
