Abstract: A gas fire bowl has a heating portion which includes a pedestal, a fire bowl, a locking lid, a burner fixed in the fire bowl, gas parts communicating with the burner, and ignition parts housed and connected in the fire bowl and close to the burner. A portable BBQ grill portion can be installed on and detached from the fire bowl of the heating portion and the pedestal has a plurality of locking features. The portable BBQ grill portion includes a cooking plate and a grease cup having a pocket and removablely attached to outside of the fire bowl. The locking lid has portable features to cooperate with corresponding features of the fire bowl to make the gas fire bowl hand-held and potable. The device can be used as a gas fire bowl, also can be used as a BBQ grill in one unit with space and cost savings.

Abstract: A quick-disconnect gas pipeline comprises a quick-disconnect device (QDD) which comprises a QDD male end and a QDD female end, and a gas hose. The QDD male end is connected to the gas pipeline inside the heating system and the QDD female end is connected to the gas hose outside the heating system. When the heating system is not used, it is easy to disconnect the QDD to prevent people from tripping over the long gas pipeline.

Abstract: A radiant area heater includes a columnar base with a hollow compartment and a heating column disposed on the columnar base. The heating column includes a control portion with at least one controller, a burner, and a sparker and a flame portion that includes a combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is disposed on a cylindrical member that has at least one vent allowing air to circulate to the burner and within the combustion chamber. The heating column further includes at least one heat emitting screen disposed above the flame portion that radiates heat outwards from the heater. A cover is disposed over the heating column to direct heat outwards and away from the heater.

Abstract: A fire effect device for holding, controlling and displaying fire and methods of attaching and mounting such a device to furniture, such as umbrella tables. The includes an internal chamber 11 which houses a fuel dispersion assembly 12 and a rigid hollow tube which may be mounted to the chamber or be of unitary construction with the chamber. The rigid hollow tube is designed to be inserted into a hole or aperture of a table, such as an umbrella hole, and connected to a gas valve and thereafter a fuel line or source, such as a propane tank. The device is attached and detached to the table with ease by i) engaging or disengaging the fuel line from the fire effect device and, ii) the simple turning of a nut.
