Patents Assigned to Boninchi S.A.
  • Patent number: 4346464
Abstract: A control member such as a push button or winder for a thin water-tight watch has a tube fitted to the watch case, and a control rod movable in the tube by a manually movable head fixed to the rod. Surrounding the tube axis is a sealing O-ring making sealing contact with and around a surface of the tube. The ring compressed axially of the tube is disposed between the head and tube in a housing defined in part by first and second faces on the head. The first face is annular in a plane at right-angles to the tube axis and the second face is cylindrical centered on the tube axis and spaced radially of the tube from the ring.

  • Patent number: 4292682
Abstract: A water-tight push-piece for a diver's watch comprises locking means constituted by a sleeve fitted inside a head located around a tube intended to be secured to the watch case. This sleeve is not able to rotate but is able to slide on the tube and is provided externally with a screw-thread co-operating with an internal screw-thread on the head, in order to be able to move axially during rotation of the head. A gasket is disposed between the bottom of the sleeve and the tube. When the push-piece is locked, the bottom of the sleeve abuts against the end of the tube thus compressing the gasket.

  • Patent number: 4089158
Abstract: A winding button has an internally threaded skirt into which a sleeve is fully screwed leaving part of the thread for screwing the button on a pendant tube. When the button is unscrewed, a spring acting between a winding-stem shank and the sleeve biases the sleeve and button to an outer position in which the shank is coupled for rotation with the sleeve. Sealing joints are placed between the sleeve and the button and the sleeve and the pendant tube.

  • Patent number: 3994125
Abstract: A watch winding and time setting assembly comprises a crown body having an axial passage extending therethrough, and a push-button located in said axial passage. Said passage comprises a first portion of circular cross-section in which is located a cylindrical head of the pushbutton, a second portion of non-circular cross-section greater than the diameter of the first portion and in which a shoulder of the pushbutton is keyed, and a third cylindrical portion having a diameter no smaller than the second portion, which third passage portion has a sleeve fixed therein for receiving and retaining a compression spring. Said spring biases said shoulder into abutment with the lower edge of the first passage portion, and the sleeve acts as a limit stop for said shoulder portion.

  • Patent number: 3977178
Abstract: In a watch winding crown assembly of the type with a push-button axially displaceable relative to a crown body, the crown body has an integral cylindrical shank slidably and rotatably mounted in a pendant tube, with an interposed annular seal. The push button has a cylindrical head and shank guided in corresponding cylindrical parts of a through bore in the crown head and in its skirt, this skirt terminating with an inner shoulder in which part of the shank is keyed. A spring in the skirt acts against this shoulder and, in addition to outwardly biasing the push-button, compresses a further annular seal between the push-button and the skirt. The outer position of the push-button is defined by a widened terminal part of its shank abutting against said shoulder, this terminal part being secured to a winding stem.
