    Abstract: A vehicle bumper assembly is provided which comprises a substantially tubular reinforcing beam, a face cover, and a means for attaching said face cover to said reinforcing beam such that the reinforcing beam includes a material which has a flexural modulus at 72.degree. F. The present invention also includes a process for making a vehicle bumper assembly comprising the steps of molding a first material to form a face cover; extrusion molding a second material to form a tubular section; blow molding said tubular section to form a substantially tubular reinforcing beam having means adapted for attaching said reinforcing beam to a vehicle; and attaching said face cover to said reinforcing beam.
