Abstract: A cloud storage backend for managing data of in-vehicle sensing modules is disclosed, which is advantageous for use in the context of a shared vehicle service, such as a car rental service, an autonomous taxi service, or a ride sharing service. The in-vehicle sensing modules are configured to monitor a status of the vehicle and utilize appropriate algorithms, models, or thresholds to interpret sensor data and enrich the data with metadata and event detection. The cloud storage backend receives relevant sensor data, event data, or other metadata from the in-vehicle sensing modules and stores the data in a database which is made accessible by authorized third-parties.

Abstract: A gas metering valve for an internal combustion engine. The gas metering valve includes a housing in which a gas chamber is formed, which includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening. A movable valve element is situated in the gas chamber, which is movable by an electrical actuator against the force of a return spring and which cooperates with a valve seat for opening and closing the inlet opening. A blocking valve is situated between the valve element and the outlet opening, which opens in the flow direction to the outlet opening and blocks in the opposite flow direction.

Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle having multiple drive wheels and multiple drive machines, each drive machines being an electric machine and being allocated to a drive wheel. The method includes: acquiring a total setpoint drive torque; acquiring a current vehicle driving speed, a current steering angle, and optionally, the wheel loads of all drive wheels; determining wheel-individual movement speeds of the drive wheels over the roadway based on the current vehicle driving speed, the current steering angle, a known chassis geometry of the motor vehicle, and optionally, the wheel loads; determining a setpoint wheel speed for each drive wheel based on the determined movement speeds, and distributing the total setpoint drive torque to all drive wheels such that an actual curve path deviates from a setpoint curve path specified by the steering angle; actuating each drive machine to adjust the setpoint wheel speed at the respective drive wheel.
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed that enable rapid and cost-effective human-in-the-loop synthesis of domain-specific textual training data for a deep learning model. The data augmentation process incorporates a sentence generator, a sentence classifier, and weak-supervision by a domain expert that is ‘in the loop.’ Generally, both the sentence generator and the sentence classifier are implemented as machine learning models. The sentence generator generates new sentences based on manually labeled sentences and the sentence classifier generates labels for the newly generated sentences. The new sentences are corrected or verified by a domain expert and then used to retrain one or both of the sentence generator and the sentence classifier.
Abstract: A generator for generating two- or multi-dimensional frequency representations of synthetic radar signals from a set of radar signals measured by a physical radar sensor. The armature, on actuation of the solenoid valve, is moved by a magnetic field of the coil, reducing an air gap of the solenoid valve defined by a position of the armature. The method includes measuring an electric current during the actuation of the solenoid valve, analysing a characteristic of the electric current during the actuation of the solenoid valve, and assessing the functionality of the solenoid valve based on the analysis of the characteristic of the electric current.
