Abstract: An evaporator for a refrigerator, in particular a domestic refrigerator, includes at least one refrigerant channel and at least one plate. The plate has a receptacle, arranged in a space defined by the refrigerant channel, for positioning a tube. The receptacle is formed by at least one projection, which forms a longitudinal guide of the tube. The projection is formed on the at least one plate and defines a channel having a channel wall upon which the tube bears at least partially in a longitudinal direction. The tube is, for example, a protective tube for a temperature sensor.

Abstract: In a method for pumping a fluid out of an aquiferous household device such as a dishwashing machine, a drain pump and a circulation pump are operated at least partially simultaneously to ensure that, in the event of an abrupt stop of the circulation pump, reverse flow that may cause filter cake formed by separating soiling and particles to loosen resulting in their re-soiling of the items to be cleaned. The speed of the circulation pump is lowered from a maximum speed to at least a minimum speed substantially without pressure surges before startup of the drain pump.

Abstract: A washing machine having a simple, leak-tight drain line that can be easily assembled on the wash tub of the washing machine is disclosed. The washing machine includes a valve part that is connected to the wash tub in a sealed fashion and designed in one piece together with the wash tub. The valve part has a drain valve, an outlet connection having a drain opening, and a pipe part connected to the outlet connection and to a drain pump for water transfer. The drain valve can float in the wash water and is moveably disposed inside the valve part to seal the drain opening when wash water is located inside the wash tub and when the drain pump is idle, and to open the drain opening when no wash water is located inside the wash tub and when the drain pump is operating.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for autonomously switching off a domestic appliance after completion of a previously selected program is disclosed. The domestic appliance has a control device that executes programs controlling the domestic appliance and an operating unit. The domestic appliance is connected to electrical energy from a power source through circuit arrangement comprising a terminal connection and first and second switches. The first electrical switch is separate from the second switch and can be switched from an open state to a closed state in which the switch is electrically conductive to connect the control device to the electrical energy. The control device is designed to switch the second switch from an open state to a closed state in which the control device is connected to electrical energy through the second switch as soon as the first switch is switched to the closed switching state.

Abstract: A vacuum cleaner comprising a housing, in which a dust collection chamber is arranged, which may be sealed by a dust chamber cover, on which an unlocking element for a clip element is provided, which cooperates with a counter-clip element on the housing, in order to hold the dust chamber cover in a closed position. According to the invention, a vacuum cleaner with improved cover lock may be achieved, whereby the unlocking element is integrated flush in the contour of the dust chamber cover and is embodied to be operated by pressing.

The controller has at least one touch-sensitive surface with switching functions allocated to at least one operating function, whereby the switching functions of the touch-sensitive surface may be operated with a light contact and the relevant operating function is then switched on or off, or selected. The touch-sensitive surface of the controller preferably reacts to the change in the electromagnetic field, resulting from a touching of the touch-sensitive surface, whereupon the relevant operating function is switched on or off, or selected. Improved ease of use may be achieved, whereby only a slight effort is required for selection, or to switch on a particular rinsing program, or operating function on the controller.

Abstract: The invention relates to a support carrier for supporting a container to receive cooled goods from a cooled goods dispensing machines delivering cooled liquids and water ice cubes. Cooled goods dispensing machines are often integrated into refrigerators in such a way that a refrigerator door is provided with a recess into which a drink container is set. For the recess to be useable with containers of different sizes, and at the same time to ensure a secure support for the containers, a support carrier is provided having at least one joint and which can be, for example, folded out of the recess to permit a relatively larger container to be supported relative to the recess.

At least one elastic damping body is provided in the hub between the receptacle and the vanes to damp the transfer of vibrations from the shaft to the vanes, and prevent vibration of the vanes relative to each other. A slotted central sleeve in the inner section of the hub forms the receptacle for the shaft and is surrounded by an annular spring.
