Abstract: An interengaged multiple-grip set of pliers includes an interengaging arm, an interengaged arm, and an articulation joint. One arm includes an elongated opening which is provided with a first engagement means having a pitch p, and the joint is arranged on the other arm and has a second engagement means. The joint is axially movable between a first position blocking any translation between the arms, and a second axial position allowing translation. The first engagement means and the second engagement means are arranged such that, starting from a first engagement position between the first engagement means and second engagement means, the joint is axially movable beyond the second axial position as far as a third axial position, and can then be moved in rotation about the axis thereof in order to bring the first and second engagement means into engagement in a second engagement position.

Abstract: A tool handle having a core (2) adapted to be secured to a screwdriver blade (1), and a sleeve (3) of plastics material placed around the core. The core and the sleeve have portions in relief (9, 20) for mutual positioning in rotation, and mutual positioning devices (5, 10, 11, 14, 17, 21, 22) for mutual positioning in axial translation. The sleeve (3) is a part that is distinct from the core, and is made of a semi-rigid plastics material and is engaged on the core (2) from in front.

Abstract: Pliers-like tools having opposing and cooperating jaw elements wherein one of the jaw elements includes a heelpiece having a non-circular recess formed therein and in which a mechanical element associated with a jaw carrier portion of a handle is selectively inserted so as to be in non-movable relationship with respect to the one jaw element. Mechanical elements are provided for fastening the handle to the one jaw element at the area of the recess.

Abstract: The method consists in cutting out the outlines (11) of a series of blanks in lengths of shaping sections (10) of variable thickness whereof the cross-section corresponds at least to one cross-section of the blanks. The invention is useful for making clamp jaws and elements of various pliers.
