Abstract: The invention is an apparatus and a process, the apparatus of the invention is an intelligent system configured to test the efficacy of electrostatic discharge devices that includes a touch screen display, a microcomputer, and resident persistent non-volatile memory. Preferred embodiments use the persistent resident memory to store a plurality of test data from a plurality of tests correlated as a data base. The apparatus of the invention in certain embodiments operates as a WEB host wherein remote users may view ESD test data in various ways. The process of the invention relates to the configuration of the apparatus of the invention to at least display test data from a plurality of electrostatic dissipation device tests. The process of the invention may also include the configuration of test settings, or email notification metrics.
