Abstract: A protective bottle enclosure for removably enclosing a bottle having a bottleneck ending in an open mouth. The enclosure includes a base section, a body, and a removable cap. The base section includes a cylindrical base sidewall secured to a perimeter of a base bottom wall and an open top. The body can removably engage the base section to cover the open top thereof. The removable cap includes a cap sidewall and a stopper that can removably engage the open mouth of the bottle. The stopper includes a stopper body and an annular ring extending radially outward from the stopper body. In use, the protective bottle enclosure can surround the bottle and seal the open mouth of the bottle when the base section is engaged with the body and the removable cap is engaged with the neck section.

The bottle enclosure can include an upper portion configured to fit around the neck, shoulder, and main body of the longneck bottle, a cap removably coupled to an upper end of the upper portion and configured to fit over the top of the longneck bottle, and a base portion removably coupled to a bottom end of the upper portion. An elastomeric component can be arranged on an interior surface of one or both of the upper portion or the base portion.

The enclosure includes a base component comprising an outer shell having a base wall and a sidewall extending upwardly therefrom, a support ring, and an interior sleeve. The enclosure further includes a cap component having a lower annular wall and a gasket. The gasket is disposed within a second cavity defined by the cap, and the gasket includes an aperture that is aligned with an opening of the cap component. The lower wall of the cap is configured to be inserted into the first cavity of the base component and the cap component is configured to be removably attached to the base component. The support ring is disposed around an upper end of the interior sleeve and configured to removably couple the interior sleeve to the outer shell. The interior sleeve is configured to receive a beverage container.

Abstract: A protective bottle enclosure includes a container having a neck, a shoulder, and a body, wherein the neck includes a plurality of threaded portions and a plurality of planar portions located intermediate the plurality of threaded portions. The enclosure further includes a removable cap from which extends a first threaded portion and a second threaded portion, the first and second threaded portions being located along opposing sides of the sidewall, and a first planar portion and a second planar portion disposed adjacent and between the first and second threaded portions. The first and second threaded portions of the cap are aligned with the plurality of planar portions along the neck when the cap is axially inserted into the container.
