  • Publication number: 20240390725
Abstract: An adjustable barbell system may include a base, two or more weights, a handle assembly, an additional weight, and selection assembly. The two or more weights may be supported by the base and grouped into a first set of weights associated with one end of the barbell system and a second set of weights associated with an opposing end of the barbell system. The handle assembly may be selectively fixedly joined to the first and second set of weights. The additional weight may be disposed distally of the handle assembly. The selection assembly may be secured to the additional weight. The selection assembly may include a selection member that may be linearly moveable between a selected position where the additional weight is operatively secured to the handle assembly and an unselected position where the additional weight is disengaged from the handle assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240293723
Abstract: Described herein is a swivel mount for rotatably coupling a display to the frame of an exercise machine. The swivel mount includes a rigid arm fixed to one of the display or the terminal end of a frame member, the arm terminating with a ball at its free end. A socket is defined at the other one of the display or frame member which rotatably received the ball. A rotational resistance mechanism is operatively associated with the socket to selectively engage the ball and resist the rotation of the swivel mount. In some embodiments, the arm of the swivel mount may rotate in a conical range of motion for repositioning the display in relation to the frame while the display remains in a fixed position relative to the arm.

  • Publication number: 20240252873
Abstract: An adjustable dumbbell may include a handle assembly and multiple weights connected to the handle assembly. The weights may be selected in sequence in order to determine the desired weight for use. The weights may be positioned on ends of the handle assembly and may rest within a base when not in use. The handle assembly itself may be removed while the weights remain in the base. The system may be controlled manually by a rotational motion or may be controlled by an automated or semi-automated system.

  • Publication number: 20240245951
Abstract: A stationary bike capable of leaning of tilting side to side during use is described. The stationary bike has a fixed frame portion and moving frame portion which is pivotally mounted on the fixed frame portion, at two spaced apart pivot locations, to allow the moving frame to pivot about a pivot axis defined by the two spaced apart pivot locations. The pivotal action of the bike may be resisted, such as by a damper. The tilt-enabled bike is equipped with a tilt disabling mechanism, e.g., a locking mechanism configured to selectively and operatively engage the moving and the fixed frame to disable the relative movement (i.e. the pivoting) of the moving frame.

  • Patent number: 11992722
Abstract: A storable exercise bench is provided. The exercise bench may include a frame including at least one beam operatively coupled to first and second floor supports and a member operatively coupled with the at least one beam. The exercise bench may be positioned into an operating position in which the first and second floor supports support the at least one beam and the member, and the at least one beam runs generally horizontally in reference to a support surface. The exercise bench may be positioned into a storage position in which the second floor support and the member support the at least one beam and the first floor support, and the at least one beam runs generally vertically in reference to the support surface.
