Abstract: A controllable atmosphere collapsible container for perishable goods comprises a sealable bag accommodating the perishable goods and means for controlling atmosphere therewithin. The bag is mechanically connected to collapsible frame further comprising: (a) a concatenate rectangular carrying sub-frame; (b) concatenate supporting members releasably connectable to the rectangular carrying sub-frame. The bag is downwardly housed into the rectangular carrying sub-frame and configured for accommodating the perishable goods.
Abstract: A machine for assembling a container accommodating perishable good comprises bag placing means configured for inserting a bag into a frame and everting a bag rim portion over the frame and bag securing means. The bag securing means further comprises: an internal member having a perimeter conformable with a cross section of the bag thereat the internal member insertable into a main portion of the bag; and at least one external member conformably pressing the rim portion everted over the frame to the main portion. The internal and external members are provided with cooperatively disposed effectors configured to secure the rim portion and the main portion together when the rim and main portions are pressed to each other.
Abstract: A compactly transportable collapsible frame for supporting a soft bag accommodating perishable goods comprises: (a) a rectangular carrying sub-frame; (b) at least two supporting members releasably connectable to said rectangular carrying sub-frame. The rectangular carrying sub-frame comprises four successively connected to each other ?-like shaped members.
Abstract: A two-piece box assembly includes a box insert and an outer shell portion which are for use as a portable cooler. The box insert and the outer shell portion are made from a precut blank that are folded into their final shape. The box insert is covered with a water and vapor resistant coating to allow the box assembly to hold water based products for extended periods of time without significant degradation of the two-piece box assembly.
