Abstract: An animal attractive absorbent pad comprising an absorbent pad that displays at least one fluorescent compound; wherein the at least one fluorescent compound fluorescent compound fluoresces in the absence of urine, feces, blood, and other bodily fluids; wherein the at least one fluorescent compound is detectable on the absorbent pad when the absorbent pad is exposed to ultraviolet light; and wherein the at least one fluorescent compound attracts animals such as cats and dogs to eliminate on the absorbent pad.
Abstract: An attractive cat litter box comprising a cat litter box that displays at least one fluorescent compound; wherein the at least one fluorescent compound fluorescent compound fluoresces in the absence of urine, feces, blood, and other bodily fluids; wherein the at least one fluorescent compound is detectable on the cat litter box when the cat litter box is exposed to ultraviolet light; and wherein the at least one fluorescent compound attracts cats to eliminate in the cat litter box.
Abstract: An animal litter product comprising sodium bentonite granules and particulated compressed cellulose sponge, wherein the compressed cellulose sponge is not treated with any clumping agents, gelling agents or wetting agents; wherein the compressed cellulose sponge is not agglomerated with other components; and wherein the compressed cellulose sponge particles are present in the litter from about 1 to 10 wt. %, and the sodium bentonite granules are present from about 99 to 90 wt. %.
Abstract: The present invention is a method of preparing shaped three dimensional clay particles suitable for cat litter with improved absorptivity. The method is three dimensional printing clay slurry in the desired particle shape, and wherein the printed clay particle, when printed at a low temperature and when dried, provides improved absorptivity when compared to extruded clay particles. The particles are not crushed, and the particles are not sintered at elevated temperatures.
Abstract: A cat litter comprising an absorbent and at least one fluorescent compound, where the at least one fluorescent compound does not contain cat urine and wherein the at least one fluorescent compound attracts cats to eliminate in the litter. The cat litter comprising a solid particulate material coated with a cellulosic solution containing at least one fluorescent material.
