Abstract: A pedal bin having a housing in which a waste container can be accommodated, a lid mounted at the top of the housing by a pivot pin, which lid has a lever that extends on the side of the pivot pin facing away from the lid and at this location has a sliding construction that allows a sliding movement between a relatively low position and a relatively high position in a plane transverse to the pivot pin, a movable pedal provided at the bottom of the housing as well as an operating member interacting with the sliding construction of the lid and the pedal for pivoting the lid, by depressing the pedal, between a closed position and a first open position defined by a first pivot angle with respect to the closed position, the sliding construction and the operating member being in the relatively low position and the operating member being subjected to tensile force.

Abstract: A frame which can be moved between a folded-in position and a folded-out position includes suspension means for suspending the frame from a vertical element, an arm assembly having at least three arms and a rod assembly which cooperates with the arm assembly. The arm and rod assemblies are designed such that the arms may extend between a folded-in position and a folded-out position. The suspension means cooperate with a section of the arm assembly and/or with a section of the rod assembly which is/are at the periphery of the planes defined by the assemblies.

Abstract: A housing for a drying device which can be folded in and folded out comprises a base which is situated on the rear side and can be attached to a vertical support, such as a wall, and with respect to which the drying device can be folded in to form an elongate unit, wing means which are suspended on the base and can be pivoted along a pivot axis directed in the longitudinal direction of the unit between a closed position for covering the folded drying device and an open position in which the drying device can be folded in and out, as well as supporting means for supporting the drying device with respect to the housing. The wing means, in the closed position, extend forwards with respect to the base.
