Abstract: A mobile device mounting template includes at least one ferromagnetic strip, and a base sheet to which the at least one ferromagnetic strip is releasably affixed. The base sheet includes a template sheet and a release liner, the template sheet having markings thereon for positioning the device mounting template on a mobile device, and the release liner being removably releasable from the template sheet. A method of mounting a ferromagnetic strip to a mobile device includes positioning a template having the ferromagnetic strip removably attached thereto so that the ferromagnetic strip is exposed, positioning the ferromagnetic strip on a mobile device using a template alignment line on the template, adhering the ferromagnetic strip to the mobile device with an adhesive on the ferromagnetic strip, and removing the template.
Abstract: A suction mounting device includes a unitary body of soft or rigid plastic having an interior and an exterior portion connected by a hinge. The exterior portion is movable between first and second positions about the hinge, the first position a pre-mounting position in which a gel material of the exterior portion contacts a mounting surface to form a cavity between the mounting device and the mounting surface, and a second mounting position in which the exterior portion is rotated about the hinge toward the mounting surface to create a larger cavity and a partial vacuum therein to hold the suction device to the mounting surface.

Abstract: A mount for an electronic device includes a ferromagnetic element securable to the electronic device, and a mount body including a face plate and at least one leg, the magnet secured in the face plate, and the at least one leg movable from a stored position to a support position. The stored position is flush with the face plate, and the support position is normal to the face plate. The magnet and ferromagnetic element combine with the leg in it support position to allow reliable mounting of heavy and/or oversized electronic devices.
