    Abstract: A double-acting linear actuator includes a linear actuator, a receiving disk, a spring, and a piston rod having a piston rod extension fixed to the receiving disk. The spring's first end is supported on the linear actuator and it's second end is supported on the receiving disk. The spring is tensioned by a displacement of the piston rod extension when a pressure is applied to a side of the piston rod. A linear movement is triggered at a force transmission element with a maximum system force when a pressure is applied to a piston side of the linear actuator so that the spring is tensioned and presses against the receiving disk to thereby introduce a stored force of the spring, via the receiving disk being firmly connected to the piston rod extension, into the force transmission element in addition to a force of the linear actuator.

    Abstract: A multi-loop antenna and an RFID system are used for monitoring tools when machining rotationally symmetric workpieces. A multi-loop antenna is arranged on a tool carrier near a rotationally symmetric tool so that multi-loop antenna encloses the rotationally symmetric tool and the rotationally symmetric tool carries an RFID transponder. The position of this RFID transponder is arranged on the rotationally symmetric tool so that it is arranged in the electromagnetic ring field of the multi-loop antenna. The multi-loop antenna is arranged on the tool carrier so that it is possible to query the RFID transponder on the rotationally symmetric tool in any position while in motion and when at rest.

    Abstract: A device for rotating, positioning, and introducing electrode caps for welding electrodes into a magazine. A rotating electrode cap channel is connected to a spiral conveyor. The electrode caps stand on a cap end-face provided with a bore on the spiral conveyor end, and they are rotated by 90°. The other end of the rotating electrode cap channel is arranged relative to the upper end of the guiding shaft such that vibrations of the spiral conveyor are not transmitted to the rest of the system. The openings of the rotating electrode cap channel and the guiding shaft are arranged relative to one another such that the electrode caps can be reliably transferred, and the guiding shaft is connected to the magazine filling unit at the lower end of the guiding shaft. The magazine connection has locking lever sensors, which detect the correct fit of the magazine.

    Abstract: A magazine for electrode caps of welding electrodes, in particular for welding tongs of welding robots, includes a magazine head and a changer magazine. A quick-action coupling unit connects the changer magazine to the magazine head, and at least one interlocking guide device is arranged on the magazine head and on the changer magazine. The electrode caps to be kept available for supply are stored in the changer magazine in two cap guides. The cap guides are diagonally offset in the changer magazine and magazine head. A magazine closure mechanism is arranged on the side of the changer magazine facing the magazine head, and the side of the magazine head facing away from the changer magazine is opened in the form of an aperture sufficiently far in the access direction of the welding tongs to expose the full diameter of the electrode cap aperture positioned in the access direction.
