Abstract: A combination of a reusable garment hanger and an indicator for displaying garment-related information is provided. The hanger has an indicator attachment mechanism, which is configured to selectively engage, in a detachable manner, a first indicator or a second indicator that has a dimension different from the dimension of the first indicator. The hanger can be used and reused with different indicators.

Abstract: In a combination of a garment hanger and a reusable indicator for displaying garment-related information, the indicator can be attached to and removed from a lower neck region of the hanger where a hanger post intersects the hanger body. The hanger includes an indicator retaining member for providing indicator retaining interference with the indicator to retain the indicator at the lower neck region. The hanger further includes structure for providing pivots upon which the indicator can be flexed to remove the indicator from the hanger. The indicator can include a discontinuity for admitting a hanger hook and assisting deformation of the indicator. The indicator can be deformed along the discontinuity to remove the indicator from the hanger.

The hanger body has a top surface for supporting a garment and an undersurface opposite the top surface. The hanger body has a retaining structure for retaining a portion of the garment. The retaining structure has a cantilever that extends under the undersurface of the hanger body. An under-notch is defined between the undersurface of the hanger body and the cantilever. A portion of the garment, such as a strap of the garment, is insertable into the under-notch to be positively retained in the under-notch.

Abstract: A garment hanger and a sizer that can be removably mounted to the hanger are provided. The sizer includes a pair of inwardly extending fingers for mounting the sizer to a hook or a body of the hanger. The sizer can be manually or automatically removed from the sizer by a tool, by inserting the tool into a space between the hanger and a respective inwardly extending finger. The hanger and the sizer enable a method of reusing hangers and sizers, by automatically removing the sizers from the hangers, processing the removed hangers and sizers to provide reusable hangers and sizers. The reusable hangers and sizers are distributed to remote garment manufacturers for providing garment-on-hanger products.

The hanger has a first arm section and a second arm section pivotable with each other through a hinge, to allow the hanger to switch between a folded or transportation configuration and an unfolded or display configuration. A locking member is associated with the hanger arm sections and configured to lock the hanger in the unfolded configuration. The locking member can have a moveable member, which is moveable between a first operative position and a second operative position. The locking member can have a snap lock and a socket provided with the first arm section and the second arm section, respectively.
