The harness also comprises a left support arm extending from the left side portion of the belt and a right support arm extending from the right side portion of the belt. The left and right support arms may be held by a supervisor to assist the child with walking. The support arms may also be utilized to steer the child in a supervisor-dictated direction. The support arms may extend from the belt at an angle other than zero degrees from a plane through the belt.
