Abstract: The present invention is applied to cans presenting a tubular body (10), inferiorly closed by a bottom wall (12) and superiorly closed by any of the parts defined by a removable lid (20), or by a set formed by an annular upper wall (16) and by a lid (20) which is seated on a seat defined in the annular upper wall (16). The inspection window comprises: a seat (40) provided in any of the parts defined by the lid (20), annular upper wall (16), and lateral wall (11) of the tubular body (10), said seat (40) presenting an outer annular surface (41) and an inner annular surface (42); and a plug (50) of transparent polymeric material, permanently fitted on the seat (40) and presenting a median panel portion (51) incorporating a peripheral upper flange (52), seated onto the outer annular surface (41) of the seat (40), and a peripheral lower ridge (53) tightly seated against the inner annular surface (43) of the seat (40).

Abstract: The closure device includes: a retention ring seated around the container and axially locked between a finishing cord and a peripheral rib, which are externally incorporated to an upper region of the tubular body of the container; and a locking ring which is seated and affixed around an end cord of the lid and incorporating an outer skirt surrounding the end cord and the finishing cord and being elastically deformable, from a locked position against upward displacement at the locking ring, to a position unlocked from the latter. The device may further include a suspension handle coupled to the retention ring, and a seal means cooperating with both the retention ring and the locking ring to make evident a first opening of the container.

Abstract: A container having a tubular body including a side wall, a bottom wall in the form of a spherical dome projecting to the interior of the container, and an upper wall in the form of an annular spherical dome, inferiorly attached to the side wall by an upper double seam. The bottom wall includes at least one seating region having a predetermined circumferential extension along a plane extending transversely with respect to an axis of the container and being axially spaced inwardly within the side wall of the container, the seating region being configured to be fitted around a respective circumferential extension a upper double seam of an identical and adjacent container inferiorly disposed in a vertical stack, and axially seated on said upper double seam, so as to define a single contact region between two vertically stacked containers.

Abstract: The container includes a body including a tubular side wall with upper and lower edges that are double-seamed to end walls. The tubular side wall includes a deformation region formed by circumferential friezes, which are parallel and adjacent to each other and have a Z-shaped profile with their end legs disposed in planes which define, with the axis of the tubular side wall, an angle between 45° and 90°. The end legs are interconnected by a median leg inclined in relation to the axis and defining, with the respective end legs, an angle not superior to 90°. The adjacent end legs of two consecutive friezes being coplanar and interconnected, by their opposite ends, to the respective median legs.

Abstract: A metallic lid for a can of the type which presents an opening defining a seating, said lid comprising, in a single piece, a bottom wall which incorporates, superiorly and peripherally, a side wall provided with a free upper edge and designed to be frictionally seated and axially retained in the interior of the seat. According to the invention, the bottom wall comprises a peripheral annular portion adjacent to the side wall, a median portion and an annular rib portion having the cross section in the approximate form of an inverted ‘U’, with the free edges of is lateral legs being respectively incorporated to the adjacent edges of the peripheral annular portion and median portion of the bottom wall.

Abstract: The container comprises a peripheral side wall (10), whose upper peripheral edge (10c) defines a retention hook (11) with a profile in the form of an inverted U, having an inner side leg (11a), an arched base leg (11b) and an outer lateral leg (11c). An upper end wall (20) of the container comprises a median panel (21) and a peripheral upper skirt (22) having an end edge (22c) defining a closure hook (23) with a profile in the form of an inverted U, having an inner side portion (23a), an arched base portion (23b), and an outer side portion (23c) which incorporates an upwardly projecting end flange (23d). The closure hook (23) is fitted onto the retention hook (11) and radially inwardly deformed, compressing an elastic sealing element (40) between the two hooks and maintaining the end flange (23d) projecting upwardly to the interior of the retention hook (11).

Abstract: Improvement in a can of the type which comprises: a body portion; a neck portion of reduced contour and having an upper end edge provided with an outer peripheral projection and defining the contour of an upper opening; a transition portion joining the body portion and the neck portion; and a lid having a peripheral tubular portion to be fitted in the interior of the upper opening of the neck portion and having a free upper edge carrying an outer circumferential rib under which is applied an annular gasket to be seated onto the upper outer edge of the neck portion upon the fitting of the lid in the upper opening. The transition portion may externally incorporate, in a single piece, a plurality of spaced apart longitudinal ribs joining the transition portion to an adjacent lower region of the neck portion.

Abstract: The suspension device is formed: by a ring incorporating two opposite radial pins and being ascendingly seated and locked against an external peripheral rib of the body of the container; and by a U-shaped handle having end portions articulated in the radial pins and being angularly displaced between inoperative and operative positions. Each end portion of the handle has a through opening, supporting a radial pin and presenting a width, in the direction transversal to the extension of the handle, sufficient to tightly support, in said direction, the radial pin, and a length, in the longitudinal direction of the handle, sufficient to support the radial pin, both with the handle in the inoperative position, and with the handle in angular displacement from the inoperative position to the operative position.

Abstract: A closure arrangement for cans and pots comprising a tubular body having a side wall whose upper edge defines a seat for a lid. The upper edge comprises a peripheral annular flange carrying, in a free outer edge, a continuous rib with a cross-section contour comprising two opposite circle arc portions, with curvature centers disposed in the same plane orthogonal to the axis of the tubular body, the lid being inferiorly provided with a continuous circumferential groove to be seated against the respective circle arc portions of the continuous rib, so as to axially lock the lid in the tubular body. An annular gasket is carried by one of the parts of peripheral annular flange and lid, to be pressed by the other of said parts upon closing the lid.

Abstract: A composite lid for a container that includes a tubular body carrying an annular upper wall made of sheet metal, in which is defined an opening surrounded by a seat, which is configured to receive and retain the lid. The lid includes a base portion peripherally incorporating a retention portion to be seated and retained on the seat when the lid is closed. The base portion includes a peripheral annular element molded in a plastic material as a single piece with the retention portion, and a central element in the form of a sheet metal plate that has an outer peripheral edge attached to the peripheral annular element. The peripheral annular element includes, internally and in a single piece, a central panel disposed on the central element, which is incorporated to the lid during its injection or attached thereto afterwards.

Abstract: A plastic lid for a can of the type comprising a tubular body (10) having an upper end (13) for the seating of the lid (20) comprising a sealing portion (21), removably seated on the tubular body (10) and provided with an upper edge (21b), a seal portion (25), to be ruptured upon the first opening of the lid (20), having an upper ring (25b) which is incorporated to a lower skirt (25a), said upper ring (25b) and said lower skirt (25a) being respectively seated onto and around part of the upper end (13), said upper ring (25b) being incorporated through radial bridges (26), to said upper edge (21b), the seal portion (25) presenting an interruption (25c) extending through the width of the upper ring (25b) and through at least part of the height of the lower skirt (25a). The sealing portion (21) incorporates a gripping tab (27) which is manually operable only when part of the seal portion (25) is ruptured.

Abstract: A suspension device is applied to containers comprising a tubular body (10) having a side wall (11) carrying an outer peripheral projection (12) and an annular upper wall (13). The device comprises a retaining ring (25) incorporating an inner radial flange (27) to be seated onto an upper edge (11a) of the tubular body (10), and elastically deformed retaining fingers (28) that are fitted under and against the outer peripheral projection (12), in the condition in which the retaining ring (25) is mounted around the tubular body (10) and axially retained under said outer peripheral projection (12), said retaining ring (25) affixing end portions (29a) of a suspension handle (29), that is displaced between a rest position and a raised operative position.
