Abstract: A rotation and detent mechanism includes a body defining a cavity and having a travel limiter with two fixed faces protruding into the cavity. A detent plate nests and rotates within the cavity and has two limiting surfaces between which the travel limiter of the body is disposed. One of the limiting surfaces engages a respective one of the travel limiting faces of the body at each extreme of angular rotation of the detent plate. The detent plate includes recesses for engaging one or more spring loaded ball plungers mounted in the body. Each ball plunger engages a recess in the detent plate at certain angular detent positions of the detent plate within the body. The mechanism further includes an axle on which the detent plate rotates, and a coil spring that engages the detent plate, resisting rotation of the detent plate in one rotational direction.

Abstract: An adjustable food shield includes a panel mounting mechanism that enables extensive adjustability of the food shield. The food shield may include a post having a longitudinal axis, and a carrier coupled to the post, the carrier including a carrier clamping mechanism. The carrier clamping mechanism is loosenable to enable the carrier to be moved along at least a portion of the length of the post, and is also tightenable to fix the carrier at a certain location on the post. The mounting mechanism may also include a link having a proximal end pivotally coupled to the carrier. An arm may be pivotally coupled to the distal end of the link and extend from the link. The adjustable food shield may include a clear panel coupled to the arm such that the clear panel is movable to different positions by rotating the link, the arm, or both.

Abstract: According to the invention, a component foodservice counter system is disclosed. The system may include a first vertical plate member, a second vertical plate member, a plurality of lateral structural members, and a counter top. The plurality of lateral structural members may couple the first vertical plate member with the second vertical plate member, with each of the plurality of lateral structural members possibly mechanically coupled with the first vertical plate and the second vertical plate. The counter top may be supported by at least one of the plurality of lateral structural members.

Abstract: A device to support one or more articles with a pole, where the device may include a collar having a first section and a second section that are coupled by a hinge to allow the collar to open. The collar may be openable at opposite facing ends of the first and second sections to receive the pole, and closeable around the received pole. The device may also include a clasp to lock the collar in a closed position on the pole. The clasp may include a fastening hook and a tensioning member coupled by a clasp pin. The fastening hook has a hooked end that can be received by a lip on the first section of the collar and held on the lip by articulating the tensioning member to the closed position.
