Abstract: The invention is directed to a device for the styling and/or drying of hair, including an exothermic material that is enclosed by a gas-permeable film. Applied to the outer surface of the film at least in certain areas thereof is a water-absorbent fabric, which comes into direct contact with the hair when the device is used. The device finds application preferably as a self-contained, regenerable hair roller.
