Patents Assigned to Braun GmbH & Co.
  • Patent number: 5880373
Abstract: An arrangement for measuring high pressure differences. The arrangement has a differential pressure sensor made using thin film technology. The arrangement has a metallic layer in which measuring resistors are arranged. The sensitive structures of the measuring resistors are kept away from aggressive measuring media by encapsulation.

  • Patent number: 5804735
Abstract: A differential pressure transducer unit with an overload protection system to measure slight differential pressure in liquids and gases under high static compression loading, which unit can be connected by flanges to the differential-pressure lines. In order to reduce the number of pressure-tight electrical bushings and largely to dispense with continuously stressed flexible connection lines, the one or more sensors contained in the measuring element are constructed on a single, multi-pole electrical bushing, which form an integral unit with the latter. The measuring element constructed on the bushing is housed in a cutout of the measuring-element housing so that it can oscillate and is free from tension. The cutout is closed by the bushing in the manner of a plug.

  • Patent number: 5763784
Abstract: A differential pressure transducer unit with an overload protection system to measure slight differential pressure in liquids and gases under high static compression loading, which unit can be connected by flanges to the differential-pressure lines. To avoid disturbing influences on the measuring element caused by radial tensions of the means of the overload protection system dependent on the absolute pressure, the measuring element is fasten in a cutout of the measuring-element housing so that it can oscillate and is free from tension. Each insulation plate is fitted with an eccentrically located measuring duct through which pressure-measuring agent flows, and which is connected at least indirectly to the measuring element.

  • Patent number: 4966819
Abstract: A covering frame for roof windows, doors, facade linings or auxiliary materials, the covering including a lead apron forming a water-tight transition. The lead apron has an aluminum layer glued to the top of the lead layer. The aluminum layer protects the lead layer to reduce the likelihood of cracks arising in the lead apron, as well as prevents the leaching of the lead due to weathering. At the same time, the aluminum layer provides for a permanent, decorative appearance of the lead apron. Further protection is available against atmospheric corrosion by applying a coat of paint to the aluminum layer. Preferably, the lead apron is corrugated and pleated together with the aluminum layer.
