Abstract: A system and method for distributed credit account information is disclosed. The method receives, at a subsystem, a subset of credit account information from a main rules system. The subsystem then determines that a communication to the main rules system is disrupted. The subsystem utilizes the subset of credit account information to make at least one purchase authorization decision. After determining that the communication to the main rules system is operational, the subsystem provides a reconciliation data file including the at least one purchase authorization decision to the main rules system.

Abstract: A system and method for adding a virtual credit account to a mobile device is disclosed. The system receives a contact information for a customer at a store's electronic device, the contact information comprising: at least one of a device identifier (ID) and a user ID, the contact information being part of a request for a pre-existing credit account to be added to the customer's mobile device. An access to an account lookup/verification for the pre-existing credit account is provided to the customer's mobile device, the access generate an out-of-band verification. the request for the pre-existing credit account to be added to the customer's mobile device in conjunction with the out-of-band verification is provided by the customer's mobile device. The pre-existing credit account is then added to the customer's mobile device in a digital format allowing the customer to make a purchase.

Abstract: A short-term authorized pass is disclosed. The method receives a request for a short-term authorized pass to be generated from a credit account of a first party and provided to a second party, the request includes an amount allocated to the short-term authorized pass. A sub-account is generated from the credit account by allocating a part of the credit account to form the sub-account. The credit limit on the sub-account is set to the amount identified by the first party, a virtual account number (VAN) is assigned to the sub-account, and the VAN of the sub-account is linked to the credit account. The short-term authorized pass is generated, using the VAN of the sub-account, and is provided to the second party. However, no funds are taken from the credit account of the first party until the short-term authorized pass is used.

Abstract: A system and method for Internet-based management of displayed printed media is disclosed. The method and system receive a plurality of data files from a plurality of different sources, each of the plurality of data files comprising information about printed media at a single source, the information includes: a printed media version and a location identifier. Each of the plurality of data files are evaluated to determine that one or more of the plurality of printed media are out-of-date. A metric that identifies each location having the one or more of the plurality of printed media that are out-of-date is generated. An instruction is automatically provided to each location having the one or more of the plurality of printed media that are out-of-date to remove the one or more of the plurality of printed media that are out-of-date.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically aggregating, evaluating, and providing a contextually relevant offer or incentive is disclosed. One method obtains a plurality of offers for a customer. Each of the plurality of offers is then evaluated to determine a contextual relevance of each of the plurality of offers. Each of the plurality of offers is then sorted into a best contextually relevant offer to a least contextually relevant offer order. The obtaining, evaluating, and sorting is continuously repeated until a time for using an offer is identified. The system and method then present the best contextually relevant offer.

Abstract: A seamless electronic system and method for application, acceptance of, authorizing access to, and tracking purchases made with a new credit account is disclosed. The method uses a mobile device to electronically apply for a new credit account and receive a metadata file formatted for a mobile wallet on the mobile device, the metadata file providing a new credit account for making purchases via a mobile payment. A biometric security is provided to limit access to the new credit account, the biometric security being different than an input needed to access the mobile device. A user is authenticated with the biometric security, prior to receiving access to the new credit account; and initiating a mobile purchase therewith. A digital receipt identifying one or more aspects of the mobile purchase is received.

Abstract: Methods and systems for partial application data collection are disclosed. The method stores a network accessible application having a plurality of form fields. One or more processors generate a session identifier (ID) and timestamp for a user accessing the application. The one or more processors determine that a state within a form field of one of the plurality of form fields is in focus, the state of the form field being in focus when the user selects the form field. Additionally, it is determined when the state within the form field is no longer in focus. At that time, a countdown timer is initiated. When the countdown time reaches zero, any data entered into the form field is collected. The collected data and the session ID are then combined into a single user data file.

Abstract: A limited use temporary credit account is disclosed. The method includes displaying, on a display of a mobile device, a temporary credit account, the temporary credit account correlated with a newly approved non-integrated credit account, the temporary credit account including: a temporary account number; a temporary expiration date; and a temporary security code. Incorporating a time constraint into the temporary credit account displayed on the mobile device, the time constraint limiting an amount of time the temporary credit account is displayed on the mobile device and limiting an amount of time the temporary credit account is available for making a purchase. Integrating a credit limit reduction into the temporary credit account displayed on the mobile device, the credit limit reduction reducing an available credit on the temporary credit account to an amount less than a credit available on the newly approved non-integrated credit account.

Abstract: An application platform configurable for collecting user data associated with a plurality of retail-branded credit cards is provided. The application platform includes a configurable front end comprising a graphical user Interface layer that is configurable to a specific one of the plurality of retail-branded credit cards, a backend layer comprising credit card functionality for directly performing credit card transactions associated with a specific one of the plurality of retail-branded credit cards, a data collection layer comprising a data collector for collecting user data associated with the plurality of retail-branded credit cards and an analytics engine coupled with the data collection layer for determining one or more attribute about a user from the user data associated with the plurality of retail-branded credit cards.

Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for applying for a credit card account on a mobile device and pre-populating a credit card number field, a user is prompted for credit application information via the mobile device for processing of a credit card application. The credit application information is numerical information. Credit application information is received at the mobile device. Approval of a credit card account based on the credit application information is provided at the mobile device. A credit card number for the credit card account is stored at a remote location different from the mobile device and pre-populating a credit card number field with the stored credit card number for an online payment, wherein the pre-populating is provided by a credit card issuer and not the mobile device.

Abstract: A system and method for simple checkout is described. A computing device is used to access a website. The computing device receives a selection of an item to purchase at the retail website. The computing device provides purchase authorization information from the credit account app to a checkout of the retail website without the user providing account information for the credit account.

Abstract: Using position location information to pre-populate and verify information on a credit application is disclosed. A mobile application for a retailer is downloaded to a mobile device. The mobile application on the mobile device obtains authorization to access location information on the mobile device. Location information for the mobile device is received at a computer system and from the mobile device, the location information generated by a positioning system on the mobile device, the location information comprising: historic location information stored in a memory of the mobile device and real-time location information. The location information is used to prefill at least a portion of a credit application.

Abstract: A system and method for mobile device verification for an electronic application before providing a digital pass to an approved customer is disclosed. The method and system receives, at a store's customer credit application computer, an application for a new account, the application including a contact information for a customer's mobile device providing, from the store's customer credit application computer, the contact information for the customer's mobile device to a verification system to authenticate the customer's mobile device providing, from a credit account provider, a text to the customer's mobile device, the text causing the customer's mobile device to be subjected to a second authentication; receiving, at the customer's mobile device, a message that includes a link to the digital pass; and utilizing the link to receive the digital pass at a mobile wallet of the customer's mobile device.
