    Abstract: Sectional doors for garages, industrial warehouses and the like are formed by panels joined together in an articulated manner by hinges. Advantageously, the bottom edge of each panel is provided with a tapered lug which, at the end of the rotation during closure of the door, abuts against the inclined flank of the edge of an underneath panel. The abutment thus formed ensures the correct vertical alignment of the panels, thereby providing the door with a smooth operation and appearance.
