  • Patent number: 7273244
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective device (8) comprising a panel (9) forming the vertical limit between a protected zone (10) of the rear boot (2) used to receive the objects (7) and accessible when the rear boot (2) is open from the rear forward, and a second zone (11) of the rear boot (2) used to receive the roof (1) in a folded, stored position and located above the protected zone (10), the panel (9) being moveable between a low protecting position and a high protecting position. The invention is characterised in that the panel (9) co-operates with a first sensor (14) to prevent the roof (1) from being folded when the panel (9) is above the low protecting position, and with a second sensor (15) to prevent the boot (2) from being closed when the panel (9) is above the high protecting position.

  • Patent number: 7272244
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of images with high resolution jacquard fabric comprising the following steps: colour scanning of an output image to be reproduced on a fabric, video visualisation of said image with the largest number of colours possible with the means employed for said visualisation. The invention is characterised in that the method comprises further steps: selection of a number of base colours to be used for forming said image on said fabric, said number of base colours is related to the number of warp and weft threads which may be used in the loom and which are to be applied in the weaving of said fabric, reducing the original colours of the output image to a number of reduced colours which it is possible to produce by mixing the base colours of the warp and weft threads.

  • Patent number: 7237822
Abstract: Each of the sets of pivots (5) comprise a base (9) fixed to the bodyshell (10) of the vehicle, a body (11) linked to the hood (4) of the rear boot by a hinge (12) and means for locking the body (11) in relation to the base. For a lock in the closed position of the hood, a hook (16) of the front and rear sets of pivots (5 and 7) engages, in a co-ordinated manner, the first and second stubs (17 and 21), whereas, for an opening of the hood swiveled towards the rear, during unfolding or folding away of the roof into the boot, the hooks (16) of the front and rear sets of pivots operates so as to respectively and solely engage the second stubs (17) of the rear set of pivots (7) and release, in a co-ordinated manner, the second and third stubs of the front set of pivots (5), and inversely for an opening swiveled towards the front of the hood, to access a luggage loading zone in the boot.

  • Publication number: 20070120286
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a mode of operation and a device to bring parallel fibres, threads or yarns from different delivery points and with individual unequal exit force to the same tension each with the others. The invention consists of three processing steps: decreasing the tension of the fibres from an arbitrary individual tension level to a tension level of about zero; slippage-free transport of the fibres through a slip lock unit with a known velocity determined beforehand; increasing the tension of each and every fibre from a tension level of about zero to the required collective tension level.

  • Patent number: 7204542
Abstract: A rear boot (3) hood (4), for a convertible vehicle (1) swivels in relation to the bodyshell, via a first assembly element (13) capable of engaging in a detachable manner into a second assembly element (14) linked to the bodyshell. First and second runner surfaces (13a, 14a, 16c and 17a) work together at the end of the swivel movement of the hood. Means for locking/unlocking comprising first and second means for engaging (16 and 17) lock the hood in relation to the bodyshell. According to the invention, the first and second means for engaging (16 and 17) respectively have between them first and second contact surfaces with co-operative shapes, so that for at least the main part of its stroke, said first means for engaging (16) applies a substantially constant pressure on the corresponding second means for engaging (17).

  • Patent number: 7032916
Abstract: A single-piece side wheel attachment member for removably attaching an auxiliary side wheel to a bicycle is provided. The attachment member has a single-piece molded structure, including an upper vertical portion and a lower substantially horizontal spindle portion connected through a C-shaped compliant structure for allowing the spindle portion to move vertically when subjected to force. In its natural unbiased condition, the vertical and horizontal portions of the member extend generally perpendicular to one another. The upper vertical portion includes a projection and at least one through-hole for insertion on the rear wheel axle of the bicycle. The horizontal spindle portion is rotatably engaged by the auxiliary side wheel, therefore acting as its axle.
