Abstract: A video camera and a device for automatic video or audio redaction are provided herein. The device may include: an image capturing device configured to obtain an input video having a plurality of video frames; a communication interface configured to obtain descriptors of at least one prespecified object, being a visual or an acoustic object; a computer processor configured to: obtain a detected object in the video frame, being an object having descriptors similar to the descriptors of the at least one prespecified object; and generate a redacted video by removing or replacing the matched objects therefrom; and record the redacted video on a data storage device or transmit the redacted video via a video management server, wherein the computer processor is configured to generate the redacted video prior to storing the redacted video on the data storage device or transmitting the redacted video via the video management server.

Abstract: A system and a method for automatic video redaction are provided herein. The method may include: receiving, an input video comprising a sequence of frames captured by a camera, wherein the input video includes live video obtained directly from the camera, wherein recordation of the video directly from the camera is disabled; performing visual analysis of the input video, to detect portions of the frames of the input video in which one of a plurality of predefined objects or a descriptor thereof is detected; generating a redacted input video by replacing the portions of the frames with new portions of another visual content; and recording the redacted input video on a data storage device, wherein the generating of thethe redacted input video, is carried out by a computer processor, after the input video is captured by the camera and before the recording of the redacted input video on the data storage device.

Abstract: A system and a method for visual analysis of customer interaction at a scene are provided herein. The method may include: receiving at least one video sequence comprising a sequence of frames, captured by cameras covering the scene which includes at least one staff person and at least one customer; detecting, using a computer processor, persons in the at least one video sequence; classifying, using the computer processor, the persons to at least one customer; calculating a signature for the at least one person, enabling a recognition of the at least person appearing in other frames of the video sequences; and carrying out a visual analysis, using the computer processor and based on the at least one video sequence of at least one customer interaction which is visible at the scene, to yield an indication of the interaction between the staff person and the at least one customer.

Abstract: An output video is created by at least two cameras recording respective source videos, each having multiple video frames containing video objects imaged by the cameras corresponding to multiple instances of one or more respective source objects traversing the site. Output video objects having a new start display time are computed such that a total duration of display times of all video objects from all source videos is shorter than a cumulative duration of the source videos. The output video objects or graphical representations thereof are rendered at new display times over a background image such that (i) instances imaged by different cameras at different times are represented simultaneously; (ii) at least two output video objects originating from a common camera have different relative display times to their respective source objects; and (iii) in at least one location there are represented instances imaged by two different cameras.

Abstract: Method and system for producing relevance sorted video summary are provided herein. The method may include: obtaining a source video containing a plurality of source objects; receiving features descriptive of at least some of the source objects; clustering the source objects into clusters, each cluster including source objects that are similar in respect to one of the features or a combination of the features; obtaining relevance level of the clustered source objects, respectively; generating synopsis objects by sampling respective clustered source objects; and generating a synopsis video having an overall play time shorter than the overall play time of the source video by determining a play time for each of the synopsis objects based at least partially on the respective relevance level.
