Abstract: An illumination device includes an elongated flexible body having a first end connected to a second end via a flexible connecting body and an illumination portion coupled to the first end and a coupling portion coupled to the second end, wherein the illumination portion includes one or more illuminating sources and a first magnetic component housed within the illumination portion, the coupling portion includes a second magnetic component housed within the coupling portion, and the flexible connecting body is capable of folding such that the illumination portion and the coupling portion axially align and the first magnetic component magnetically couples to the second magnetic component.

Abstract: Disclosed is an illumination device for use with spoked wheels, such as bicycle wheels, wherein the wheel includes a hub portion, a plurality of spokes, and a rim portion. The illumination device includes a power pack, at least one adaptor body, and at least one attachment portion. The power pack having at least one wire, a flexible button cap, a body housing, and circuit board with a switch. The at least one wire including a plurality of light sources. The at least one attachment portion including a clip portion providing for the installation of the at least one adaptor body to the bicycle spokes. The illumination device also includes a holder for the installation of the power pack to the bicycle wheel. Further, the illumination device may include a tubular body located in the internal cavity of the at least one adaptor body.

Abstract: An illumination device includes a spool body having a top flange extending from a perimeter of a first end of the spool body and a bottom flange extending from the perimeter of a second end of the spool body opposite the first end of the spool body, a rope light selectively wrapped around the spool body, and a power source disposed with the spool body and electrically coupled to the rope light such that the power source causes the rope light to emit light. An end of the rope light may be secured to the spool body and a second send of the rope light may include an attachment device for attaching the rope light to a rope or like support. Circuitry components may be configured to electrically couple the power source to the rope light and control an illumination mode of the rope light.

At least one clasp may be disposed on a side of the housing opposite the at least one hinge, the at least one clasp being configured to maintain the housing in a closed position without the use of tools. The housing having an internal portion, external portion, and an attachment mechanism located on the external portion of the housing locking in place the housing to the guy line. The light emitting source is located within the housing and powered by the power source. The on/off switch is in contact with the power source providing readily activation of the light emitting source. The attachment mechanism may comprise at least one hook portion and a tensioning mechanism. The tensioning mechanism may comprise at least one offset portion. The tensioning mechanism prevents the device from sliding down the guy line.
