Abstract: The object to provide a child safety seat for a vehicle with a harness that can be tightened and clamped at a predetermined tension is solved by the child safety seat for a vehicle according to the invention with a harness for restraining a passenger in said seat, whereas said harness is to be tightened and clamped at a predetermined tension when in use and at least one adjuster strap of said harness is guided through a spring loaded element enabled to maintain the predetermined tension in the at least one adjuster strap of said harness and whereas that adjuster strap runs then through a clamping device to avoid slip.
Abstract: The object to provide a user-friendly handling for the adjustment of the height of components, in particular head rests is solved by the device for height adjustment of a component of a seat in accordance with the invention which consists of a carrier element carrying the component, a locking element designed and arranged to prohibit height adjustability in a first position and to permit height adjustability in a second position, wherein the locking element is connected with an adjusting element via a motion link, and the adjusting element is pulled upward by pulling means so as to transfer the locking element from the first position to the second position.
Abstract: The object to provide a child safety seat with which the user is able to restrain and fasten a child in a child safety seat in a optimal way is solved by the child safety seat with the five point harness according to the invention comprises a two tongue buckle, whereby the two tongue buckle comprises guiding means through which webbing is guided and the webbing comprises stopping means to allow a predetermined length of webbing to run through the guiding means and retracting means operatively connected to at least one part of the webbing.
Abstract: A restraining device according to the invention for a child's safety seat provided to be fixed in a vehicle by at least one top tether, wherein the at least one top tether comprises at least one first loop that is provided to be pushed over a crossbar, is characterized in that the at least one top tether comprises a second loop provided to be pushed over restraining means.
Abstract: Child safety seats are used for the safe transport of children in vehicles. The child safety seats known from prior art often offer only insufficient protection in the case of a side impact. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a child safety seat that improves the protective effect of the child safety seat in the case of a side impact. This object is solved by a child safety seat with side impact protection according to the invention. Such a child safety seat comprises at least one element absorbing and/or transmitting energy which is arranged and designed to be transferred from a rest position to a functioning position to absorb a laterally impacting energy in the functioning position.
